Personally, mine is the 16 oz. Why? If I only having one or two, 12 oz. is too small, 22 oz. is too big and most of the time uneconomical, but 16 oz. is just right. I can fill my pint glass and have some left for a second pour so it doesn't seem like I'm drinking too fast.

16 is ideal, but 12 is my preferred "standard size"

With a 12 oz bottle or can I can drink 3 or 4 different kinds of beer in one evening, that's a lot harder with bombers. A lot of times I'll drink a hoppy beer while I cook, something malty like a bitter or stout with dinner, then something heavier like a Belgian dark ale or wee heavy while I do the dishes.

12oz mostly. You can always crack open another if you want, or swich to something else. Only problem I have with bombers and 750s is you can be stuck with a bunch of beer in the bottle that you don't want or can't finish for whatever reason.

I went with 12, because not a lot of beers come in 16. I do like bombers though, esp on a weekday where I'll have a bomber or split one with the GF. Its nice to have a bomber for evening, not pounding, satisfied with about 2 beers and usually great beers. I buy bombers the most.

I used to like bombers\750s till you asshats showed me the math and I saw how much I was getting plowed buying them, so now I will have to vote for 12oz containers.

I like 12oz. Keeps things fresh and allows me to have different varieties if I want.

If price wasn't a factor I'd choose 22oz. I love being able to say I'm only having one beer. Haha

Many beers can only be purchased in bomber/750 format though. How do you deal with that?

Still buy them, I was mainly speaking to when there is an option between large format and 12oz. I used to always go bomber/750.

.5L would be my favorite. I wish everyone used them. Since that's not the case 12oz comes in a close second.

Well it is much more $$ effective to mail 750s to South Africa no?
That has to be such a pain in the ass!!

    Cheers!
