Neither is listed as a quad on here, but Unibroue's Maudite and Trois Pistoles are less than $10 for a four-pack around here. I personally wasn't a big fan of Weyerbacher's Quad, but it's about the same price.

I really liked the Reverand by Avery. Sadly, they don't distribute to my area anymore.

And it's really too bad RR doesn't bottle Mortification. That would easily be my answer (depending on the price of course).

I think Weyerbacher's Quad and Victory's V-Twelve aren't quite to style. Not sure if it would make it up to MA, but as for PA brewed Quads, I think Sly Fox's Ichor is better than both of those.

I was pleasantly surprised by Lost Abbey's Judgment Day, For $9.99 it's a bargain in their lineup and a good American quad.

Sixth Glass by Boulevard would be the cheapest at $9.99/4 pack and is okay if not a bit hot. St. Bernardus is worth the extra dough though. Rochefort 10 at $4.99/12 oz. aint cheap but it is worth drinking on occasion. Its amazing.

Sixth Glass is $11.99 a 4 pack here. Truly an awesome brew with great value.

I had trouble finishing Weyerbacher Quad. Not very good. And I think Baby Tree is Pretty Thing's worst beer.

St Bernadus 4 packs are the way to go. Not too expensive per ounce, its a great beer, and quads are a style I don't want 750ml of at once.

I was really exited to try this one and I have to say when I finally got around to it I found it was a HUGE dissapointment

This question really starts and ends with Sixth Glass 4-packs. $10 for a 4-pack and it's actually an awesome quad. Otherwise, cheap is relative, but almost everything else out there that is good gets up into that $4-$5 per 12oz bottle range which is on par with the actual Belgian imports. Other similarly quads priced similarly to Sixth Glass (Harpoon, Weyerbacher, etc) aren't nearly as good.

Trois Pistole from Unibroue is really something for the four pack price.

Offhand I can't remember the price but Rochefort 10 is easily my favorite quad.

While I enjoy 3 Philosophers, it's a quad but with the Cherry flavoring, i generally comapre more to Kasteel Rouge. Hard to beat St Bernardus ABT12 for a pure Quad. One of the few Abbey style quads that is available in 375ml 4 packs. Always have some in the cellar..

Sixth Glass gets my vote. Always have some of that on had when the Belgian itch needs scratching. That and Unibroue Trois Pistoles, although I'm not 100% if that is classified as a quad or not, not that it really matters.

Not horribly cheap, but Gouden Carolus cuvee van de kaiser for 9 a 750ml can make for a tasty evening.
