They're finally posting prices too. Has there always been a case discount/limit?

    Good stuff.

I don’t remember if there was always a limit, but there definitely has been a discount.

I'm starting to seriously sour on these guys. I like some of their beers, love a few, and have been meh or worse on a number of them in the past few months. Pricing is just stupid, 22-24/4 pack and 550+tax for a single the beer better be astounding and it usually isn't. Just had two cans of DDH Harry Doesn't Mind that were about a month old and in the fridge the whole time and they were just lousy all around. DDH Tell Shaky and Boxcar Joe was thoroughly mediocre. I am a big fan of Weird and Gilly and have enjoyed a bunch of their other offerings so it's not all bad but it's just not good enough for me to come back too often, especially when a brewery like Greenpoint is (IMO) doing better work for much better pricing. Humbug.

Unless I see serious changes in their recipe to reflect the amount they charge or if I see them dramatically lower their prices, they wont get another dime from me.

I have no problem with paying $22 for a 4pk of their stuff on rare occasions and when my fridge is empty. Granted I have only had 3 or 4 of their beers but was never disappointed by any of them. They will never be a regular purchase for me mainly due to cost though.

I find their cans fall off the fastest which is too bad.

Also "prized proprietary hop oil" is too funny.

Will be interested to see what they consider 'full-distro' to be. I have a couple local shops that haven't gotten cans from Singlecut in months according to them.

The punk with the stutter ddh is good. I don't know if it's worth whatever $ they're asking but it's one of the better beers I've had from SC in months. That is comparing it to dumpster fires like In and Around the Lake. Still...Stutter is good.

It isn't. There is nothing this brewery could POSSIBLY make to warrant charging 40% more than any other HV/NYC/LI brewery putting DIPAs in 16oz cans.

I have a bottle of BA HBOL sitting in my fridge that I’m waiting to crack open. Anyone have this batch yet? I remember having it on tap last year (think it was non BA version) and being very impressed.

I thought it was solid. I was wary as this yea'rs rye barrel version has honey and sometimes stouts with honey can be overly sweet to my palate.

I thought the honey was subtle enough to not make a major differences and the base beer remains very solid.

Based on last years rye barrel aged HBOL, I wouldn't sit on it more than a few months. To me, that version was better fresh.

I loved DARL early batches but the last one I had 2 years ago just wasn't good.

Haven't purchased anything Singlecut since early summer when I drove to the brewery for the Mo Shuggie and NME release. Mo was a shell of what it used to be while NME was mediocre.

I'd really like to try Singlecut and DARL again but that pricing is really working against them when it's a roll of the dice.

SSMS and a new version of Full Stack tomorrow for $20. How did the new version of Half-Stack compare to the original one? I'm a huge fan of regular FS but am tentative to spend $20 on a 4-pack if it tastes completely different.

Last batch of Full Stack I had months ago was terrible, I drain poured 6 cans. Loved some of the batches before that though.

Damn, didn't have last batch but I also can't even fathom pouring $30+ worth of beer down the drain, unless it was oxidized or some other form of actually completely undrinkable.
