Heading to Brooklyn this weekend and I've seen lots of great spots for beer. However, a lot of these bars either don't have TVs, or there's one or two only. I need some help in finding a sports bar in Brooklyn with lots of TVs and great beer. It seems like a lot of the sports bars have a weak tap list....please help! Thanks!
I'll be at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott, so the closer to that spot, the better. I like the look of Croxley's, though.
Croxleys is probably the best shout Pacific Standard is good and closer to you - not sure if they only have a college / west coast focus though I think Greenwood Park has a decent amount of sport (and recently had CBS) - but probably just as much of a shag to get to as Croxleys from where you're staying, and a higher chance of small kids running around (which may be a good thing if you have your own)
You may only need one or two tv's at a bar with pretty much only one game happening at a time. That may open it up a bit if you're looking to try beers from a specific brewery. You're also just as close to spots in the city if you're taking the train. Keg and Lantern in Greenpoint, bk, augurs well and fools good in the east village/lower east side are nice spots to watch a game. I'd have a couple places in mind and check beermenus the day you're going. Also, check the mta weekender if you take the train.
Yeah good call - Fool's Gold just as easy to get to from the hotel as anywhere in Williamsburg, and way superior tap list
