I'm a total consumer that day, not a provider.

I think y'all need to bring more fresh and sweet IPAs - no haze, as that's not my thing. Less Big Ass Stouts, as I'm not a neck beard.

Assuming I’m able to get a ticket, I’ll be bringing beers from WeldWerks, Black Project, Casey and any other good local releases that pop up around DLD.

 

I’ll be headed to Colorado for some skiing in February. Do any of those places distro?

 

I'm sure you can take whatever bottles she gets in her allotment and sell them on the way out to cover costs (and then some if you get lucky).

 

I'd dissuade anyone from doing that who wants to bring someone who is abstaining from alcohol or isn't going just to see the metal bands. This would be like someone bringing their girlfriend to a once in a lifetime concert and her saying "I don't listen to music, maybe I'll just go spend the concert in the restroom reading....."

 

I've seen cans of Weldwerks' lesser stuff accessibly in Denver.

DLD would be a miserable time if you didn't drink.

As far as selling bottles/flipping them, I would never advocate for that. Ultimately people can do what they want with them,.. just don't expect me to be on your side of the argument.

 

I’m pretty sure we had a designated driver or two in our group last year, and I think they thought the antics surrounding them were hilarious.

 

HOLY CRUD.......5 months out and the thread is 10 weeks old and has 12 pages already!!!!!!!

 

I suppose if some like to people watch, it could be entertaining. Just a bit costly.

 

I doubt even that. DLD is like going to 6 Flags Great America without roller coasters. You are standing in lines all day long and the only thing that makes that bearable is knowing you might find a great beer on draft/share/etc. If you aren't drinking what is there to look forward to for all the suffering involved....

 

On the “most common beer” front, my guess is CBS. I bet people bought way too much of it, and will like the idea of sharing it before noon.

 

I’ll take some of that since I was unable to score any CBS.
