Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Does anyone know if Short's mart still carries Vintage Premium Lager? Didn't see it on the website and I was banking on that as my Shanty beer this year.

 

Just grabbed a 6 pack of Superfluid for 10.99! Great price. It taste perfect to me, just the right amount of bite.

 

Well looks like its Locals this weekend then. Hope you guys got enough cans haha.

 

Just hit my place for some Superfluid - truck delayed until tomorrow. Gonna be a long 24 hours as I've been planning on and excited for some Superfluid to be exciting my taste buds tonight.......

One of my most anticipated beers of the year so quick into the New Year!!

 

Did anyone spot Superfluid in the Plymouth/Livonia/Northville/Commerce area yet? How about the Meijer in Auburn Hills?

 

Some nearby meijers had it Sunday. Should be all over this week.

 

Any chance of finding superfluid outside of Michigan? Would like to get my hands on some without having to drive 4+ hours.

Superfluid's malt bill may taste slightly different to me, could be memory though. Hop profile tastes the same, just as unique and delicious as ever!

Has it ever been said which hops are used in Superfluid? It just has such a unique hop profile! My fav hoppy offering from Short's!

 

I think Summit was in the mix somewhere. I swear someone answered this last year.

 

This is a good point - $10.99 for a 6 pack of an 9+% ABV DIPA. This is in the Lagunitas price range wheelhouse.

How many breweries would package this beer as a $9.99 - $10.99 4-pack??

 

I'm definitely a "Fluid" fan and its tasting very similar to previous batches. Probably just a palate thing. My suggestion is to just take the beer at face value (which is damn good) and enjoy!!!

If you have a hard time doing this than PM me and I'll buy what's left of your case assuming your not a far drive from SE MI.....

New Beer Up!

Of course, what makes this release so ridiculous is that this highly sought after brew ia usually a limited release only. Last year, we saw it in a variety pack. This year, however, Superfluid comes to us as a SEASONAL release in six-packs and kegs for January and February.

So drink up! For Short's first-timers this makes an excellent introduction.

 

Saw a liquor store post a picture on Facebook of Superfluid on special for $9.99 a sixer. Damn good deal!

 

Just enjoyed a Woodmaster. Kudos Shorts, that’s a terrific beer. Sooooo tasty.

New Beer(s) Up!



Two we've seen in bottles before (@Cotton_27, here you go!) and two new to release:

I think everyone here is a fan of Chief Hopper, and I'm always appreciative of a classic lager style sneaking into these packs. But the one I'm really excited for is It's About Thyme, which I first had in 2013 and until now has been pub-only. For selfish reasons, I hope everyone enjoys it enough that it gets released again in some form in the future.
