    I had a growler for a party I threw, everyone loved it and I found it to be a very tasty English Barleywine. One of my friends actually said it reminded him of Abacus (which after he said it, I actually agreed with). Is it as good as abacus, I'm not sure, but it was very tasty.

    Pre-Meditated is on at Cask Republic. I do not know price or size because the bartender sent me a taste to my table at lunch :grinning:.

    I'll be tapping the cask of Coffee Ghost Pigeon sometime this afternoon. Should be ready by 4 PM at the latest. You can always call us to be sure if its on before you stop by.

    It's a shame NEBCO's web presence is so poor (their website is comically outdated), since that question gets asked a lot, but I think it's something like 11 - 6 on weekdays.

    Yup and they do a great job with that, I'm just saying that its hard to find their hours online. It took me awhile to even realize they had a facebook account because searching for "new england brewing company" on google reveals their webpage first, their never updated twitter account on the second page, and no facebook result as far as I can see.

    I really shouldn't have said web presence, I should have just said "website." Again, they do a great job keeping people up to date on facebook, and I think it's absolutely great how in touch they are with people on there. And even on this site

    Hours are 11-6 mon-fri. If you come earlier they don't turn u away unless its busy and Saturday from 11-3. Final Friday open till 9.

    Thanks for posting their hours. My wife and I are coming from Syracuse this weekend and are planning on going to the final friday party. Haven't been to one since 2007 or so, when it was $5 all you could drink and they didn't even do ANY growler fills at that time. A couple of dumb questions with regards to growler fills at NEBco: Will they fill growlers from other breweries or only their own? Do they fill only 64 oz growlers, or will they also fill half growlers and 2L swing-top growlers>? Are growlers fills available during the final friday party or am I better off coming before the party starts or sometime on Saturday? Thanks for the help and hope to see a bunch of you there on Friday. I'll be rockin' my old school sea hag shirt

    I was just there and filled 5 non-NEBCO growlers -- two 64 oz growlers and three 750 ML Hill Farmstead flip top growlers. I called before hand to make sure and guy said they didn't mind filling whatever I brought. My brother in law also filled some 32 ounce growler he had.

    The only questions I can answer is that they do fill 2L swing-top growlers - I've gotten my Victory one filled several times

    Met fellow BA's for the 1st time: phorestfreak and averagejoe3 @ prime 16 for the Coffee Ghost Pigeon/cask.

    Good time for sure.Lots of great beer talk,and maybe the start of a bottle share or two.....:sunglasses:

    Oh,the Ghost Pigeon was perfect.I'm wondering if they went w/ the local Blue State coffee again.

    Also,couldn't resist a Ballast Point Sculpin,cuz well, who knows when CT. will see some again?
