Other Half Brewing January 2018

Ok, let's make this happen, lets try to get as many of OH BA people to a meet-up. I am thinking a Saturday around noon or so. Would coincide with people coming for a can release. Will be impossible to get a day and time to get everyone, but this seems most logical. Maybe a Saturday in middle of February? Feel free to post here too with ideas.

Seems like there was a little miscommunication with the cans since I was able to get cans of DDH Cream of Broccoli later in the day.

 

The sheet was 'view only' for me.

 

Anthony is good people. Hooked me up a few times with cans that had "sold out" and remembered me any time I came in even as a semi-regular from NJ.

I have to give mad props to the OH crew today, I was hanging out at the bar and a glass of beer got dropped on top of where I was hanging out. It wasn't a big deal, they helped me clean up my coat that got wet but in addition they gave me some cans and some 4oz pours, which they really didn't need to do. I know its fun to ironically shit on Other Half for hating their customers but this reminded me how awesome the people who work at OH are and why I love Other Half.

 

Ok count me in man

 

Yeah I got a 4 pack at opening today. They had half a case left.

 

Have we really made it this far into Sunday without anyone asking if anyone asked what was on for next week?

 

Looking forward to meeting some more NY-area BAs. Would be cool to see this become a quarterly event where we venture to various area breweries for a day.

I’m Available in February on the 10th and 17th and March is wide open.

 

This Stacks on Stacks is sipping real nice. Keeps getting better and better. That and the Mylar Daydream made my weekend.

IPA: 7% West Coast style IPA with cascade, centennial, chinook, simcoe + summit. 1/6 $150

Forever Ever: 4.7% Session IPA hopped with apollo, azacca, citra, jarrylo + mosaic. 1/6 $150

OH...Forever: 8.5% Double IPA w/ citra, galaxy, motueka + citra lupulin powder. 1/6 $275

Mosaic Dream: 6% IPA hopped with Mosaic hops. 1/6 $250

DDH Double Citra Daydream: 8.5% Double dry hopped imperial IPA w/ citra, citra lupulin powder, lactose + oats. 1/6 $275

DDH Go With The Flow: 6% Double dry hopped IPA w/ citra, motueka, simcoe, citra + simcoe lupulin powder. 1/6 $250

 

this would be fun. Will def come as long as the dates work. I can be the token guy from NJ all the locals hate

 

I'll deflect it a bit as the Hudson Valley guy. I think if you bring some Troon and I bring some EQ we'll be all right.
