Anyone else enjoy the look of a waxed 375 Blue BBLs? Haha

Yeah, not too often I plan on purchasing an entire slate of new beers. Expensive month if all 3 come out at once!

Oh man, CSB was one of my favorites. Can't wait to get that again.

White Chocolate Warmer is a huge winner for me. Maple is VERY prominent in a very good way. The cinnamon is definitely there too. Such a great beer - I hope they bottle it.

I didn't get an allocation email today. Assuming most everyone did? Weird.

What do you suppose will make White Chocolate "Chunky"? Nuts of some sort I suppose.

Also interested in 2018 PB Thursday from the bottle reviews as the 2016 batch had little PB. Otherwise I'll try it on tap this Saturday

I didn’t either, but I reached out to BruerJoel and he took care of it. As usual!

Since I can't edit my post on my phone for some reason... it's white chocolate with macadamia nuts. 100% down with that.

Are there any hints or guesses on what this entails? Maple syrup, coffee, and BACON?

Probably be similar to mash and French toast.

I love stouts but my beer "hobby" needs to hit a limit somewhere, 39.99 for a single bottle should be above that limit. Should be... Since I have two of the PB Thursday I won't be buying more of those. As great as...
    On Tuesdays, We Brunch
    White Chocolate Chunk
    Chocolate Salty BBLs
sound I will likely only be buying 1 of the 3 if they are large bottles and at this price. I need to find some balance between cost and quality and there are many quality barrel aged stouts in the $20 range.

That would be fabulous. I have one more left of Mash n French toast in my stash. One of my favorites from last year.

For anyone going to the 2018 kick off, is it at the bruery or the terreux location?

Neither. It's at the barrel facility 720 Hundley Way in Placentia. (Over by The Bruery, same place where the Black Tuesday release was)

Are initial allocations being automatically shipped? I just noticed that the receipts say "Beer Shipping (CA Only) - GSO" in the upper right, whereas my included bottles from December say "CA Pickup (CA Society Members only)". I very much hope they were not shipped since I'm currently on vacation.

You've already paid for (1) OTWB! There's no obligation to keep buying unless you want to (you automatically break even with the included beers), and it sounds like there's some less expensive lower abv stouts in the works.

Things may be different in CA, but I disagree that you can swap out other 15-20%abv, barrel aged, adjunct stouts, for other beers with similar specs, much less ones that are less expensive. I am regularly disappointed with the ~$20 BA stouts, which is why the DC option was a no brainer for me.
