Just a helpful hint man, your ISO list values are pretty high overall. And even your whole FT list probably wouldn't pull most of the things on their.
Disagree BGE has some value and could trade 1+:1 with most anything on my list at worst 2:1 the only two I think are over 2:1 are Izzy and VSB and those were just a reach that I would obviously add to get.
I really don’t want to trade but I was very tempted to PM you. For what it’s worth I wouldn’t do A&T for anything less than 2 BGE with a decent plus. That’s just me though, GL man.
A&T is amazing and I know the feeling there are bottles that I love I wouldn't trade for twice their market value.
As we all know there are beers that have nothing to do with trade value and my ISO list reflects that for me. I'm hoping someone appreciates these stouts as much as I would appreciate something like A&T.
For sure, I haven’t traded one in a couple years, they’re hard to let go of. Since they should age well if stored properly it only makes it harder. Glad you enjoy it as much as I do, you don’t see too many people looking for them anymore.
I had a VSB and always told friends I'll open it when the Broncos win the super bowl. 2 years ago it was late in the 4th quarter and I realized we were going to win and my phone started blowing up: "we're on our way". I had forgot about my promise. My non-Bronco fan beer geek friends hadn't. A bunch of Chicago guys all cheering for the Broncos. Best ounce of beer ever.
BTW, I wasn’t trying to shit on your offer, just giving you a thought from someone who was kinda tempted FWIW, I think A&T is ~3-5th hardest to get on your list. Obviously Izzy and VSB being the top two and in that order. I think you’re spot on with a lot of the beers on your list going for 1+:1. The stout for lambic trade is always a toughy, hope you get what you’re looking for.
