Call me old fashioned, but at that point I'd rather him go to work (finding me dem whaleZ) than go to school.

If anyone knows why these photos sometimes disappear, let me know. I just copy/paste them in from a stored thread in Messenger.

That's probably why. Put them on Imgur and I don't think they should ever disappear unless they change their policy.

Seriously - coffee and barleywine being the same price doesn’t make a lick of sense, although I like them both quite a bit.

When the barleywine was aged in the old BCBS barrels I would have paid more for it than for coffee, alas with the new barleywine, I tend to agree and wouldn't.

Barleywine on tap was great. My bottles were mediocre at best. Worst it’s ever been out of the bottle. Even ‘15 fresh (before the infection set in) was better.

    Glad I only had two.

GI just needs to have a separate line of Barleywines if they aren't going to do 3rd use barrels for it. Revolution is proving there is a market here for BA Barleywine variants. Would love to see BCBS Coffee Barleywine and a yearly Prop Barleywine....

I've never had barleywine variants - so, I'm curious what they taste like as they (honestly) don't sound appealing...like, at all. I trust that people are right when they say they are delicious, but...sounds so wierd.

I'm sure I've had others, but the one that pops in my head is Bruery's Mash & Vanilla. It was pretty tasty.

Just because coffee is more sought after doesnt mean it should cost more. Msrp should be tied to cost of production. BCBCS is basically bourbon county watered down with flavored water. I would think cold brew is cheaper to produce than bourbon county oz to oz comparison, especially when you have all the equipment to do it on a massive scale. My thoughts are coffee should be the least expensive and more plentiful.

BCBS Barleywine through a randall with coffee was the belle of the ball at Fobab a handful of years ago...

What variants did Rev do with the barleywine? Mineshaft gap? I guess that was a "variant", but it was just the barleywine in cognac barrels. Nothing added. If it was different barrels Id be game - come on a calvados barrel aged or a port barrel aged version? MMMMM. But I don't need blueberry barleywine or a bananas foster barleywine :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: What I really want is for them to age some of that straightjacket base in used Deth's Tar barrels ...
