Heading from Boston to Philly -- Local Swap?

Not sure if this thread should be in the beer trading forum, but I'll be heading from Boston to the Philly area for Thanksgiving & would be interested in working out an in-person trade.

Doesn't necessarily have to be locals either. I can pick up beers that don't get distributed in Philly like Boulevard or Maine Co., as well as MA stuff including Jack's Abby, Cambridge Brewing, Night Shift, etc.

I'd love to get some bottles of Terrapin Wake N' Bake or Voodoo Big Black Voodoo Daddy that don't make their way to Massachusetts (assuming they're somewhat easy to acquire in PA). I'd especially be interested in picking up some fresh Bell's Two-Hearted if possible.

Anyway, I'm not looking to pick up any whales -- just looking to help someone get to try some out-of-market brews and return the favor with Philly locals or some of the stuff I mentioned earlier.

I'd be happy to discuss actual beers with whoever's interested. Cheers!

I live near plenty of other beer stores too, so don't feel limited to that list if nothing piques your interest.

 

I'll be in the Jenkintown/Abington area. Assuming all goes well, I'd be down to do a similar exchange when I'm back for the holidays in December too. Trying to spread the BA love, ya know?

 

Thanks for the heads up. The idea of exchanging beers would be to help save me some time beer hunting, but moreso to hook someone up with stuff they haven't/don't get to try from around me (also cause I think some breweries around here are making awesome beers).

I'll definitely stop by that store when I'm back in December & have some more time though, so the tip is much appreciated.

Ahh, gotchya. Haven't seen that around these parts, but the rest of Boulevard's staples are pretty easy to come by. Also, I grew up in Philly and stopped by Canal's on the way to Long Beach Island many times... no such thing up here.
