I honestly think its a storage, and potentially pricing thing, not marketing ploy. Sure, generally sticker cans are more attention grabbing, but I think OH has too much turnover in brands to stock specific branded printed cans and have it be a good use of space. Nothing more, nothing less IMO.

I think he/she means by specifically mentioning it in the release post on Instagram, rather than using one vs the other. At least that was my take.

“This is a very limited release and will be the last time we put this IPA in printed cans”

I wasn't saying them switching from printed cans to stickers was a marketing ploy, but that calling out in the Instagram post that these are the last printed cans of OH IPA is clearly a way to create hype around one of their least hyped beers. The can being printed or a sticker is really irrelevant, not to mention at a quick glance someone might think this is the last time they're ever canning OH IPA based on the wording.

Obviously not a huge deal, and not malicious by any means. Just funny.

Oh, maybe they were just anticipating people ask why it was sticker label next time they might release it X weeks/months along and were just nipping it in the bud. The Veil made a similar announcement a couple of months ago when deviating from printed cans, I think it is just another sell sheet, brewery neediness detail and not a marketing ploy.

This hobby has really gone over the edge if people are going to flock to this beer because it is the last time it will be in printed cans.

And I do believe a couple of years ago this beer and Forever Ever were going to be regularly canned beers and they had a stockpile of cans. When the releases of other beers skyrocketed, that never really happened.

I think there may still be a midweek due to the 5 beers on the keg list. My guess is dmdd or mylar.

I'm with you on that. Too many heavy-hitters to wait until Sat.

Anyone know if there are cans of Oh left? Thinking of stopping by midweek if yes.

Nothing on Instagram stating it’s sold out. Worth a shot!

There were cans there at 430 when i stopped in. About 7 cases behind the bar, not sure what was in the back if any.

Wanted to share that I had the latest batch of All Green Everything, and I thought it was good, but these thick DDH, Lactose, Oatmeal laced IPA's are becoming a little much for me now. The OG All Green Everything was one of my favorite beers of all time, just sad they messed with one of the best.

Is the location of this release different than others? Just noticing they say "rom our Smith St warehouse at the corner of Smith and Centre."

They have been releasing from the warehouse for a while now. It's about 25 yards down the block from the taproom.
