I was wondering how it tasted. Galaxy+Nelson sounds incredible.

Had a chance to try Pop Snap Crackle on draft today at the Brew Cafe.. tasted like a rice crispy treat. These culinary IPAs are just getting crazier (in a good way).

Enjoyed that one actually. The plum saison was killer money of the best things at the Cafe today.

I am pretty shocked by that to be honest. I thought they were anti-crowler. They look pretty nice though

I’m with you. I think they are kind of wasteful, maybe that’s just me, if your gonna get 32 oz just fill a small growler. Same beer except you can keep reusing it.

They are wasteful, but I'm sure TH misses out on money when someone forgot their growler and do not want to buy another one.

I traded in two of the dustiest grimiest growlers that some former renters left in my garage on Saturday... swapped them for new 32 oz Tired Hands growlers.. maybe that was the straw the broke the camels back, they were like enough, go get the crowlers.

Not to be that guy, but it’s much easier to trade/ship crowlers than it is a growler.

Would also be nice, albeit a long shot if they anticipated lines for a certain beer that would take hours to get a growler filled to potentially pre crowler some instead. I'm looking at you bourbon barrel only void.

And despite what any anti-crowler people want to tell you, sealed crowlers do last longer than sealed growlers when filled properly. Though admittedly most places don't fill properly.

I agree with the waste part though. If I know I'll be drinking it that day I'll always get a growler.

You mean like canned beer from a canning line?

I don't know if they have the space for it but if they pre-crowler'd 50 "cans" of a new Milkshake beer at the café they could dramatically decrease the lag time/line that exists for growlers in an already tight space. They'll probably have a line before open if they do it but it would allow the taps to be used for serving customers that are enjoying a meal instead of just filling growlers for trades etc.

It was in one of those ridiculous Instagram "stories". Those things are so annoying.

It's the pictures or video that are at the top of the instagram screen, meant to be more like snapchat one and done. They posted pictures of some pretty awesome looking Tired Hands crowlers there yesterday, I assume more information to follow.

Haha yes I do mean like that but there have been a decent amount of times where something "hyped" was also pouring at the cafe and for whatever reason it wasn't canned, specifically various milkshakes and like I mentioned the BBOV. That one was the most egregious though, I bailed but my friend stayed for another two hours waiting for growlers of that.
