I don't think the crowds will be bad, but I'm guessing that the Nocturn and Atrial will kick pretty early.

Just find out what time The Answer will release BREAM on Sat. and then plan your rounds at the JK event around that to bypass some of the crowds.

MIkkeller event was a ghost town around opening. it was snowy. I heard Trillium event was an absolute shit show. So somewhere inbetween?

Does anyone know how the format is set up today. I know you buy drink tickets but are certain beers going on tap at certain times, or is everything in full force from the get go? I can only get out of the house for a short time today hence the question.

I think they're tapping all the JK beers at the start

    1/16 releases....
    ____________________
Which Greg? (DEBUT) is a new 8% DIPA hopped intensely 50/50 with Citra and Kohatu hops.
    Shooting for approx 200x cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

TRBLS (DEBUT) is the sibling to PRBLMS. Clocking in at 11%, this TIPA is hopped with 50% Nelson, 25% Kohatu, and 25% Citra.
    Shooting for approx 100-120x cases. $17.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

Crucial Taunt cubed is the TRIPLE dry-hopped version of our 8% house DIPA Crucial Taunt, and for the first time with its own full label! This one is seriously insane. Incredibly complex and saturated hop character with virtually no bitterness. We do not make this one that often, so grab it while you can.
    Shooting for approx 180-200 cases. $19.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person limit.

Lovely (DEBUT) is a new blend of wild/funky barrels from our Funkhaüst. Clocking in at 5.2%, Lovely is a blend of a Farmhouse inspired pale ale barrel fermented and inoculated with our house culture and aged in French oak red wine barrels for 9 months, blended with a 100% wheat farmhouse inspired ale barrel fermented and inoculated with our house culture and aged in French oak red wine barrels for 9 months. We extracted the beer from the barrels and dry-hopped the blend with Citra pure leaf(the by-product of lupulin powder), which contributed a beautiful floral, bright citrus peel character without the dank/resiny/citrus flesh character Citra typically provides. We then bottled conditioned it for 1.5 months. The results are simply Lovely! Elegant acidity, bright, floral hop character, subtle oak/wine character, rustic, earthy grains.
    - There will be just under 700x 375ml bottles available. $11+tax/each. 3x bottles per person.

    - We will also have approx 23x 1.5L magnums of Lovely available. $60+tax/each. 1x magnum per person.

**We will have approx. 240x bottles left of Escape and 340x bottles left of No More Sleep available when we open doors from last Tuesday’s release.
Both bottles will be available at 1x case/12x bottles per person limit.**

Based on the limits, I'm going to say a good bit left going into today (Wednesday). A couple inches of snow is on the ground in the area has people hovered inside so I see most of this probably lasting at least through part of the weekend.

Yesterday was one of the lowest Tuesday turnouts they've had in a while, the line was pretty much gone by 4:30.

As it should be in January! It was dead those first couple releases after the new year last year. Then it was Oreo Hornswoggler and hype was back on. The bottles mixed it up for sure but I like seeing this.

Anyone have an idea who the various Gregs are? I found out one is the now-former brewer of Commonwealth but no clue on the others.

I'm going to be visiting for the first time in a few weeks. Will be spending the day (Friday 2/9) in town (checking out The Answer beforehand), what are my chances for getting cans/bottles? Does stuff usually last through the week or am I just looking at pours?

You can look at their social media for an idea of how long things last, they post daily updates and what is available that same day. But in general, most weeks the majority of things are gone by Friday, especially the more popular options, occasionally a less hyped beer will carry through to the weekend. A few of the wilds made it over a week so you never know for sure.

No one knows, plenty of discussion on btv FB group, but it's all speculation. Though I'd guess that it wont be too much longer since that article is out there mentioning it.

They released a schedule in December that went through this week stating how many cans/bottles planned and the type of bottles. They've made their way through that without AB CoW so my thought is it could be any week. Unless they release another schedule like that there's really no way to know at this point. They thought it was ready enough to send a bottle out for review so I gotta think they think it's ready enough to release soon.

    1/23 Releases...
    ___________________________
Broz Night Out is our 100% Citra DIPA. Clocking in at 9%, this one is intensely hopped with one of our favorite hops, the almighty Citra. The perfect pairing when binge watching Stranger Things!
Shooting for approx 190-210x cases. $16+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

Dirt Dirt Nap Nap is the double dry-hopped version of our 8.8% DIPA Dirt Nap. A crazy amount of Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Nelson went into this double dry-hopped monster of a DIPA. Just straight up insanity!
Shooting for approx 170-190 cases. $19.50+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

Shreddy Krueger (DEBUT) is the West Coast version of our 5.5% house IPA Master Shredder. Yes. You heard correctly, the West Coast version. Shreddy Krueger was the alternate name for our beloved Master Shredder during its infancy. This mash up was a request/idea that our Lead Cellarman/Assistant Brewer Josh(aka Jehou) came up with. Josh, like most of us here at The Veil, dig that cleaner West Coast style yeast profile and a tiny bit of bitterness from time to time. We thought it would be a fun experiment and we are happy we did it! We started by brewing a small batch on our new pilot system of the original recipe of Master Shredder, then instead of pitching our house ale yeast we use for majority of our hoppy beers, we pitched San Diego Super yeast(a common yeast used in production of West Coast IPAs). Bright amber appearance with the most subtle bitterness, fresh citrus peel, stone fruit flesh, and slight pine character.
    Shooting for approx 40-50x cases. $14+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

redbugatti (DEBUT) is the Triple version of our Galaxy/Mosaic DIPA redferrari. Clocking in at 11%, like whitebugatti, this one is incredibly soft, elegant, expressive, and dangerously drinkable. If you were digging redferrari, you will love this one!
    Shooting for approx 180-200x cases. $18+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

Breakfast Blend Horns (DEBUT), we took our 7% robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of coffee from our good budz at Blanchard's Coffee Roasting Co. and 50 gallons of maple syrup. It’s seriously like drinking a cup of coffee sitting at the breakfast table. Incredible coffee aromatics and flavor profile with a subtle pop of maple syrup and hot cocoa. We are still improving on the base and thickened this one up a little more for y’all.
    Shooting for approx 140-160 cases. $17+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

We will also be debuting the new Hornswoggler glass!! We will be hiding 20x Golden Tokens underneath the 4-pack holders(only on Hornswoggler cans). Find one of these coins and give it to a staff member behind the bar to get a free Golden Hornswoggler glass(as seen in the picture in this post; the Hornswoggler himself is on the back side of the glass)! This is the ONLY way to get your hands on this glass. We will never sell this glass. It is only acquired if you are the lucky few to find a Golden Token. We made 40% less of this style of glass than the last Hornswoggler glass. Make sure you try to grab one before we switch to the next style

Concentric is our first ever bottled collab! We made Concentric back in November of 2016 when our freindz from Oxbow Brewing Company came to visit us in VA for a Tasting Room Remix. We started by brewing a farmhouse inspired ale with organic unmalted wheat from Maine and some Virginia Wildflower Honey. We pumped the wort into our koelschip and allowed it to cool naturally and inoculate with our native microflora. The next morning, we drained the koelschip into freshly dumped Virginia red wine French oak barrels, then pitched 3x Brett strains, 3x farmhouse ale strains, and Oxbow’s house culture. The wort was entirely fermented in the French oak barrels and conditioned for just shy of a year. We then blended all of the barrels together and then bottle conditioned Concentric for approx 2 months. We love this one. Apple orchard, dry dark soil, musty oak, balanced acidity, and wonderful prickly carbonation. Clocking in at 6.8%, Concentric is a beautiful beer to enjoy all year round.
    - Approx 1,000x 750ml bottles available this Tuesday. $20+tax/750ml bottle. 6x bottles per person limit.
    - Approx 23x 1.5L magnums of Concentric available. $60+tax/each. 1x magnum per person.

***We most likely will have a small amount of cans of
    - Crucial Taunt3
    - Which Greg?

No More Sleep 750ml bottles left from last Tuesday’s can release.
Anything left of these 3 will be available at NO LIMIT.***
