I can smell the butthurt from Boca. Dreamsicle is good but it’s not thaaaaat good. I’m assuming a few people absolutely loaded up

 

Yeah, you might even say it's almost privileged even.

 

I've been begging them to can Orange Dreamsicle for a while and I'm glad they finally did. As soon as I saw there weren't any limits I knew it'd be gone quick - got there shortly before noon.

Most people in line bought anywhere from 2-4 cases each @ $20 per 4-pack.

There should have been a limit though and there will be next time - the usual suspects who pay their rent with beer probably stopped just short of bringing in dollies and wagons for their hauls.

 

Not sure that was a great idea to buy cases thinking the beer was going to sell for much over retail...it is not exactly blowing up the trade boards lol

 

I saw a bunch straight up for sale yesterday. I think it was also a low-risk move considering how easy it was to get.

Yup. They poured purple assassin from bottles in vip last year.

 

This has to be one of the most over-hyped and over-priced craft breweries in America. We're yet to see their Imperial Stouts and Porters, but their regular (Hefeweizen, etc.) canned beers are over $5-6 for a 16 oz. That's ridiculous! And the artwork is horrible as well. Not to mention what he did to a lot of people.

And it was the worst beer inside the vip tent

Honestly, JWB has consistently produced quality stouts. They make some of the smoothest non-barrel aged stouts/porters out there. I wouldn't say "over hyped" by any means. Sure they have stuff going for more than a car payment, secondary. But damn, I've never been disappointed...well BA Thunderdome was too nutty for my tastes. That was my first JWB brew I've had that didn't blow me away. Not a drain pour, just not preference.

 

Yes, but it was less then a week before when they posted it last year.
