The beer lineup great, good guest beers, and from what I understand a very notable new Chef creating 'foodie wet dream' dishes. I have to give to Nick Floyd and team for the focus on providing something beyond pub food.
Go for sure just be wary of traffic and allow time if heading from downtown Chicago to Munster and same for return.
It can take 20mins or way more than an hour.

I say yes as well. I've had nothing but good experiences from my stops there. The detour is always welcome on my way home from Chicago to Grand Rapids.

The ONLY downside of FFF is that you can only get a flight of the beers you've probably had before (their standard year-long lineup minus ZD), you have to buy the fill glass of everything else. Typically there's at least 4-6 beers that sound great and you'd love to try so I wish you could do some 4oz samples.

My friends and I think the food is actually worse now with the new menus. Of course, we are blue collar heathens that just want a burger on a pretzel bun, so what the hell do we know?

Is not even a question that would cross my mind. Id say if your close and you have the time its a no brainer to check it out.

Great experience when I went to three floyds.

The food was the best brewpub food i've ever had by far.

The beer is obviously other worldly.

And the brewery exclusives they've always got are great.

It's an amazing experience and well worth the trip.

I'll let you know after this weekend. Talked my wife in going up for our anniversary....got to love a beer run anniversary weekend!!!

Glad to hear some positive, seems they take a real beating here and on FB for service, etc.

Side note: They released the 15th anni Baller Stout today. Guessing I'll miss it by this weekend though.

I cant stand all the FB and BA hate.. Ive had nothing but excellent service there.. Even brought in some homebrew nd got great feedback and a few free beers in return.. Even had an employee come in off the clock, sit down and share a beer geek breakfast with me.. Awesomely friendly people and a great environment to complement fantastic food and out of this world beer.. My one and omplaint is that they dont have hells black intelligencer year round and in bottles

That's the thing that has me most worried, all the stuff you can only try there. Where to start? Of course, this is a good problem to have.

People that have had bad service just haven't been following the 3 Floyds dress code.

Prepare for attitude and poor service if you show up wearing business casual .

I love it! Check it out for sure  Great beer, nice atmosphere, excellent food, and access to beer you can't find in stores (or have a hard time finding). I think the staff was nice and helpful and I enjoyed the tour. I usually go on a Saturday but arrive 30 minutes early to stand in line and get a seat. Have fun!

Assuming the sarcastapost scares enough people off for a slightly shorter line, yes.

Glad to see that the Toronado SF attitude is spreading. People need to lighten up IMO.

It would be like you've died and are going to Heaven, but just when you get close to the Pearly Gates a character who is dressed in red and carrying a pitchfork gives you another option for a destination.......and you take it. :slight_frown:

    Go to FFF!

To be honest, I didn't enjoy my visit a few weeks ago. 2 hour wait to get a drink in the bar, 1.5 hour wait for a tour on which you get no samples. (Good tour guide and good info though). Plus a 45 minute wait to buy beer to go. Not a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Good on them for earning such a loyal fan base (deservedly so), but it makes it hard to enjoy their brewpub when 500 people want to do so right along with you and the place only holds 100.
