Isn't Monkish Saturday releases at 10am? That'll just mean a longer line for limited Smog bottles that they'll just trade for the 4 pack they just bought.

Some one asked for a line update?
    I'm about 15th in line. It's 8:10.

Totally. Any worker there handing out tickets to avoid line cutters?

    Nope.
As I was typing, Laurie popped out and handed out a ticket. I lied. I'm 14th in line.

Probably closer to 25. The line has snaked around onto Del Amo a bit.

Looks like the line is about to the main parking lot. They have been coming out periodically and giving out numbered tickets.

Kudos to Smog. That was painless (other than having to wake up early on a Saturday).
Once we got our numbers, the line dispersed. People went back to their cars, hung out, etc.
On another Smog note, bottling line is right around the corner. We'll hopefully have Smog six packs by summer. Pretty exciting.

Vanilla/Cinnamon: Cinnamon over powers the vanilla. Tastes more like a BA Horchata stout. Not much vanilla.

Hazel Nut/ Cocoa Nibs: Really good. If you remember how non-infected Byzantine Vision tasted, you're in a for a treat.

I'll never understand how this beer gets slept on. The variants are good but og is insane.

I hope they still have some left after today. I don't care about the variants.

Should have a ton not many people bought them during variants sale and I haven't seen a ton move while I been in TR either

Variants were just ok... 17 IW was so good, excited to see how 18 IW mellows out over time

Variants were a mess. honestly I didn't wait in line and happy I could try them on tap so I didn't have to trade anything good for them. The vanilla and cinnamon was especially bad. I'm pretty sure it was extract and the cinnamon tasted so funky... like Dollar Store quality. Hazelnut Cocoa was all hazelnut.
On a positive note the Red Wine Barrel Aged was really interesting. Very cool to see how IW was in that barrel.
With the OG's they only had 17 and 18 on tap and 17 was kill with 18 not far behind. The stars of the night were the original. I may have to go buy more!
