I just used 2oz of coarse ground Kona coffee cold steeped in 1 cup of boiled/cooled water for 24 hours and it came out perfect. 10.5 abv breakfast stout with oak chips, vanilla bean cut and scraped, and a cinnamon stick all soaked in makers mark for 2 weeks then added to a secondary. Just bottled it last week.

Did you strain out the adjuncts and just pour in the bourbon? How much bourbon? 1 cup?

Nope I dumped in the entire thing. It was actually 12oz of bourbon. I did a porter with 18oz with the cinnamon and vanilla but no coffee and it was the perfect mix, but for the stout I only did 12oz because I didn't want to be stronger than the coffee. I did strain the grains from the coffee though.
