I don’t think anyone is questioning the characteristics of high quality flour, it’s the thought of “pizza dough” beer that I believe is the current of objection here.

    Cheers

I know and that's strange to me. If folks are going to object to pizza flour beer then they should object to all purpose flour beers like the milkshake style made popular by Tired Hands.

The goddamn beer is called Meatball, man.

Haha, I mean, I get it. I really do. If anything, this just goes to show the importance of naming products.

BTW, not sure if you guys have ever had Mamma Mia, but that one's a real pizza beer--one that used an actual pizza in the mash. I would see it Galco's whenever I was shopping for pop, but couldn't muster up the courage to ever buy one.

I mean, Long Beach Beer Lab makes sourdough and then puts that in the mash. Actual bread. I don't really see the problem. Also "Beer, Hope, Meatball" did still sell out, in the end. Might have taken a bit longer, but the thing is that it still sold through.

On another note: thread the past day, "Hazy bubble is bursting". Last week? "Monkish should expand for more hazy allotments".

I understand that people have differing opinions, but that's just funny.

Oh, and I was at Monkish on Monday night from a weekend trip from Vegas. The Vienna Lager is amazing. Wish I had brought a growler or two to fill.

This beer sounds weird, which so did space cookie & look how that turned out. These guys never put out NE-style beer that isn't worthy. God Damn they knocked it out the park again w/ B.H.MB. I'm guessing that having MeatBall in the Name of a Beer of going to piss off the vegans, so maybe I wouldn't have named it that, but in the end this Beer Kicks Ass. No shelf beer can even compare to this release so don't mind me being that jackass waiting in line for awesome beer.

The part that will really fry your noodle later on is whether it'd taste the same if you got it off a shelf.

Lot of naysaying about this beer on here (and I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first too), but I think it's pretty damn tasty. That pizza dough flour gives it a really pillowy mouthfeel, it is not a raw flour taste like some of you might assume. Nice rindy bite with those Enigma hops. Shorter line than usual, was in line and back to my car in only about 45 minutes which was great. That 3x 4-pack limit was also nice too, since I can't make it out for these releases very often.

I mean, you have seen the cold storage unit, and as a Cold Storage Advocate forum member, I can tell you, that thing is ancient and needs an upgrade.

Just saying, no lines, no hassles, in and out in 3 minutes tonight and with one of Monkish's most sought after DIPAs when canned, to funny.

    Cheers,

Beats Is Infinite is great. The DDH version, Planets Gotta Roll, is probably one of the best DIPAs I've ever had. Wish they'd bring that one back soon.

So do I as long as it's in growlers. What makes this taste even better is that its my first Monkish beer this year, had to take a break and let my palate reset, what a tasty way to break my fast !
