SO much cans and tap left at hoptron, please go there’s so This happens again.

 

Missed Citra by seemingly seconds, but gotta say: DDH True Green is excellent. Lovely notes of Dole, and a nice looking label to boot.

Agreed. True Green is really good, don’t sleep on this one.

 

Wasn't DDH mylar just regular according to the can labels...also no one mentioned the surprise Berliner bottle for sale at hoptron as well. I rolled up, got a spot on the street right in front of hoptron and was in and out in minutes....could have left the car running if I wanted. The longest part of the trip was waiting to use the rest room before heading out.

 

Green In Your Area is tasting nice as well and I'm not really a fan of enigma hops. Beers are tasting great and this was a super easy release, 2018 is looking good.

 

Really cool event at Hoptron today.

Surprised by the Mylar cans, picked up a nice selection for me and a couple of friends. Literally ran into 3 of my buddies at the door, gotta a nice spot at the corner of the bar, hung out for a pint. Not too crowded, very good. I could get used to this.

 

Oh wow...I stand corrected. I just assumed that Mylar was DDH since it was available last weekend. Figured they brewed extra and saved it for today.

 

Parked and was out in a minute with 3 different cans around 2:15, simply love to not wait in line for beer.

 

Ddh dcd (from 2 weeks ago) is drinking great right now. I think the sweet spot on these lactose ipas are about 2 weeks when everything melds together and no one aspect is dominating.

 

Drinking my 13th and last Infinity Plus Everything. This one fell off the cliff like Evil Knievel and the Snake River. Shocking difference between the one I had 9 days ago and this one. This is actually a drain pour now.

 

Last DDH Mylar I had was May 6, 2017 release. This new version is World Class. I did not feel the same way the last time I had it.

Agree to disagree. Far, far, far from a drain pour, unless your fridge is overflowing with straight 5’s! No longer a 4.75 but hasn’t dropped below a 4.5ish imo.

 

Citra/Galaxy is straight fire right out the box. Hits on all cylinders, happy I still got 5 left.

You were absolutely spot on. We got there around 1ish, and it was very relaxed. By the time 3 rolled around it got packed quickly.

Also, I cannot get over the vibe at OH. Love it when they play rap over the speakers. So many breweries near me play classic rock/indie and it's nice to get a change of pace when at OH.

 

We thinking there are citra/GX cans at Brooklyn OH this morning? I would love to sample the DDH version.

 

Has anyone received confirmation or any other details regarding the 4th anniversary release?

Oh...Dream is pretty tasty. The breadiness you get on a lot of lower ABV Other Half IPAs goes well with the lactose. Kind or reminds me of hoppy cereal milk.
