What beer are you drinking now? #1925

Yes it is! They just started this month, bottled 1/12/18.

 

Wow. Joining @beerloserLI here, it doesn’t really get any better than this. Everything on point here.

 

As most people say, it's pale in name only. Clocks in at 6.6% ABV. It's their only beer I've liked though.

if you are talking about Trillium, i hear you. it's a taste preference, i don't mind one of their beers. i can't drink mutilples.

 

I think Mochi will hit Chicago suburbs sometime around 2023.

 

Quickly moving on to walking the dog and a beer to go with.

Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a slightly hazy body with some nice lacing. Nose of pine, slight tropical fruit, and citrus. Taste of citrus and slight tropical fruit with a very dry finish. Overall, a great little IPA from Jersey. Fuhgeddaboudit. Cheers!

I look forward to this every January, one of the sneakiest double digit abv IPAs around!

They had a tap takeover in SF Bay Area last year during beer week, where they brought Fort Point, Congress St, Vicinity, Dialed In Gewurztraminer, and Broken Angel. Only liked FP.

I've had DDH Fort Point (enjoyed), Mosaic Fort Point (enjoyed) and Dialed Pinot Gris (didn't) in cans before.

Seems to be a pattern?

 

Totally freaked me out. As I was taking the picture, it stared back at me.

 

Same, throwing it into their Palo Santo tanks was a really good idea.
