    You are right, two completely different languages. However most French speaking people in Belgium also speak (at least understand) Dutch, being the main language in the north of Belgium. Language is still a sensitive issue in this bi-lingual country by the way.

    Lone Pine Chaos Emeralds DIPA...sorry, no pic, consumed too fast because too damn good. As a Tree House/Trillium/Bissell guy with a ton of IPA trades for Monkish, Aslin, OH and TG, gotta say this is by far the best beer Lone Pine has brewed...worth a try if you can get some.

    It's been snowing all day, with little to no accumulation. I think I'll have an IPA while I ponder the complexities of life. This might very well be, in my humble opinion, the best shelf IPA in my market. I hope everyone is having a good day. Cheers.

    I'd like to taste this blindly next to something from Melvin. Would be very interesting. Again, I did say "shelf," so we're clear. I don't know how it would fare against brewery only releases, nor do I care. If I were having a blind IPA tasting tomorrow, I don't think I'd pit the classic interpretations against the newer, juicier stuff. Whatever. Who cares. This is a great beer.

    Hey, good for you for trying! As a native Ukrainian, I personally love it (although typically only on tap or homemade), but even here I admit that it's not for everyone, especially if you were expecting beer. When we make/drink it, we don't even think of it as beer, we just have it as an alternative to soda during the Summer months. Either way, awesome that you found some in Iowa haha. Cheers!
