What beer are you drinking now? #1929

Well this guy had changed a bit since bottling I'm guessing. I've had it for a few months as the back end of a 6-pak. 30 hours of work done this week, 10 more tomorrow then 4 days off, including Super Bowl Sunday! Trip to Gainesville tomorrow to acquire Hopslam. Our local ABC got 1 case, limit 1 can per person.....

 

New to me Hu$h Money. Pretty good.

 

ImREALLYdonewithU brewed by Veil and released yesterday. This triple IPA clocks in at 11%. I gotta be careful. Background is the kitchen renovation.

Over on the Beer News & Releases board there is a lot of debate over whether this beer varies in quality on a batch-to-batch basis. There are a number of advocates whom I respect a great deal who swear that it does, so I’ll just be diplomatic and say that I’ve been lucky enough to never have had a bad batch.

For what it is worth, these cans are best by 5/2/18.

Hopslam arrived today;our local bottle shop got cases and is selling 6/pks. Pirate BOMB! and Pirate Noir landed today - I know 2 shops that got 12 bottles of each and those are probably gone by now...

Thanks Doc, good to know. I called total wine in Gainsville and told the young l won't get there until tomorrow, did you get a fair amount she said, "oh yeah we got plenty". Besides, not too many students paying $21.99 for a 6-pak. Last year they had 16 cases stacked up in Orlando when I got there.

Never had this beer but had plenty of Starr Hill brews. Never thought of them brewing stouts.

Many moons ago went to their brewery when they first opened. Small out of your garage type of operation. They have grown.

 

Happy Wednesday, BA's. I'm enjoying my first can of Lurching Towards the Sun, an 8.5% DIPA hopped with Citra, Enigma, and Vic Secret. It was released today. It has a lot going on! Another first rate NE IPA from Magnify.

 

I would say @RutgersBeerGuy that I do believe it varies year to year and I chose to go for bottles this year which I'm pleased to say is one of the best batches I've ever had. cheers

 

Name might be a little rough (kids saw it in the fridge and obnoxiously giggled at the label) but having been canned less than a week ago, this could easily be called Reno Fresh As Fuck. Excellent and my favorite from Revision so far. Cheers!
