Please tell me they aren’t gonna charge $41 for BA Behemoth

Have a buddy at the brewpub right now and there is a new 750ml for sale called 'Argues for Sport'. Cost is $25 per, and his waiter said none of the staff has tried it before...

Is that a Monty Python variant?

I believe it is, but it'll cost you if you want to continue argueing.

Anyone know the bottle limit on Argues for Sport?

Doesn't seem to be one. They usually put limits up on their to-go page next to what beer is available for purchase.

Lol....bottle conditioned? Blended with beers from their first sour program in 2013? I'd pay $25 not to try those from FFF. Nothing good came out of their 2013 sour program....

As a rule, fff sours have been very hit or miss. ... Perhaps Argues for Sport is the alleged bad/soured Dark Lord variant that forced them to distribute vintages at dld 2017

That kind of baseless theory, pure unfounded speculation and rumor doesn’t belong here...

... it belongs in the DLD thread.

I will politely disagree. All fff speculation is completely unfounded and often assinine. Any fff thread is almost all Grade A bs.

No no, the Grade A BS is in the Dark Lord Day thread.

Update. It's like Chevelier Bertrand molested a Grand Cru.

Sweet apricot fruitiness with almost a boozy feel in the middle. Low carb creates a smooth transition into funk and finished dry with acidic cherry on the throat. The sour feels like it's about reach Chevelier or Pear Bear levels but is soon muted by the yeast.

It's an interesting unique take on the style if you want to say Grand Cru. It has 3 Floyds sour written all over it but I thought it was done well and turned about how I expected.

Their description of the beer on the website is what you get it and they didn't disappoint me. Not top tier sour but definitely no slouch. Worth trying. Glad I have another

Not to be a turd, as I understand it might across this way, but do you think it was worth the price? I know this is not outside the lines for sours, but still curious.
