They told me the same thing. Also, one employee was very confident they were getting Backyard Rye. Seems like she was mistaken on that.

Hopefully she's off today. But it could happen in the next few weeks? That VR and Prop drop last year was quite random, wouldn't be surprised to maybe see the likes of it again.

 

This is very true, the burbs see next to none of this so I'm not holding out hope.

 

It has been extremely seldom that I've seen Backyard Rye available in any form the last 2 years. It's always Prop '14 and VR, or more recent stuff. Almost never see Backyard or Prop '13. Would be quite something if Backyard Rye (or either of those) were dropped at Binny's.

I love Backyard Rye. It's my favorite BC beer that I've had, and it would be great to see it pop up again.

 

Backyard Rye is the best beer I've ever had. I just peed a little.

 

Binny's in Bloomingdale has Northwoods in the back.

 

Anyone hear if oak brook got them?

 

The only way to find out is to ask in person...assuming you're one of their preferred customers.

It varies so much from store to store. I've always found OB to be the shadiest; DG, Bolly and Willowbrook are pretty democratic IME.

 

I asked my Binny's guy about Backyard Rye, he has heard nothing about any coming to any stores.

 

Grand said they weren't getting any new shipments of Bourbon County when I called

 

Lake Zurich binnys has northwoods and bw. Nice older guy ive never met named scotty, offered it up without hesitating.. so at least no shade here..............unless he was trying to distract me from asking about vr....hmmm

 

When the plot gets thicker than the bourbon county, you know things are getting CHEWY

 

That's because Grand (for good reason) hates us.
