One of these as well as a Batch 4 Temptation 750 landed in my lap recently. Was thinking about trading them. If you've traded or received one of these what did you send or get in return?

No, I would say 2 KtG + locals to equal out the $4$.

In reference to my T25 FT post, I'm just going by what people have confirmed were done in trades for it, or what has been offered in the past for it. See T25 post someone else put up.

Better make it 4x KtG if you hate it (so do I). Trade value and whatnot.

Just waiting for legit response to my original question. I should've known better than to come to BA for trade advice, silly me

I was able to land Black Tuesday 08 Straight up on three different trades already.

An '08? That must be really RARE.

It is. It's actually the base of the 2009 Black Tuesday, pre barrel aging. It's about 17% abv. Very good stuff. I was very happy I was able to trade for some Fou Foune, then trade those Fou Foune for Consecration big boy bottles, then trade for the 2008 Black Tuesdays.

The "Beer Trading General/Help" forum should have its name changed to the 'Thread-shitting in general' forum

I traded a White Chocolate for a Consecration batch 1 recently.

I think an Ann and DDG could go for the set of consecration/temptation too

I totally under traded a LP Kriek'08 and a couple Bio Gueuze 375s for a batch 2 consecration and Upland Cherry Lambic.

The other side won and I was devastated:wink:

That consecration is drinking so well the last thing I'd do is think about trading it.

Come on now.... I got one as an extra recently. It's not like RR isn't gonna do this beer again or that it was a brewery only release. Honestly I wouldn't trade more than 25$ worth of beer for one. Don't get me wrong it's drinking great but it is an off the shelf beer. You could easily trade for fresh bottles and leave them in the cellar for few years.

Look what you started, Mordor. Thanks a lot. Maybe I'll use this Consecration to christen my newish 86 ninja turtle green drop top El Camino. I'll park that bitch on your lawn, like a boss!

My thoughts exactly. Had a couple of batch 3s about 18 months ago that were pretty decent. However, about 8 months ago, another batch 3 had turned to a leather and tobacco sour. These data are surely flawed as there was no control for storage conditions on the three separate bottles. Also, I think Consecration is best fresh.

Yup it's my opinion. And if you can get a super rare beer for this more power to you. That's not the way I want to trade. I don't like to get gauged in trades and therefore I don't gouge others.
