Off topic, but since you mentioned it, how was Tedeschi Trucks? Saw them a year or two ago at the Chicago Theatre. They were pretty stellar. I've been a big Derek Trucks fan ever since I saw him tear it up at The Vic opening for Gov't Mule back in maybe '98ish or so. Had no idea who he was when we walked in the door. One of those great moments in seeing live music where an opening band makes your jaw hit the floor.

 

Have always liked Corridor but I feel like Roger is really dialing it in lately. This Squeezit OG is as good as ever and this is the best Van Hazen that he’s made too. I also loved Bendy Meme. Quite the offering on tap right now.

 

Tedeschi and Trucks Band really Jammed out Saturday Night! Their Band is Large and In Charge! Derek Is a Master at the guitar and Susan Has a voice like a Angel! They brought a lot of Energy considering they played 3 consecutive Sold Out shows at the Chicago Theater.

 

"Super Long" wait for a table from a NWI perspective, or from an absolute perspective?

I kid - last time I stopped in to try to get crowlers, there were so many people waiting for a table, and so many at the bar, that I remembered the time before that that I stopped in, the bartender was hopping, working at a mad pace, and it still took me 15+ minutes to get crowlers, so I just spun on my heel and headed back out

And much like you, I'll be sticking my head in the next time I'm in the neighborhood with a little time too.

 

Cans are tasting great

 

Highway To Haze is transferring tomorrow. Replacing Squeezit when it kicks Friday or Saturday.

 

Definitely drank a crowler or two that was a month old with little or no issue. The Brewer and the bartender explained that they fill the cans to overflowing so that when they drop the lid on prior to sealing it that there is no air left in the crowler. Really fun to watch it when they fill them but those cans do get a little sticky.

 

Was at corridor the other night and had a chance to try the Bond Villain. Really nice english-style Porter that went really well with the buffalo cauliflower and cheese curds. Really enjoyed the up front roasted malt flavor. Also had a chance to try the new van Hayes in 1984 and that was quite delicious as well.

 

Opened up a crowler of the Juice Beyond tonight with a few weeks of age on it. Tasted incredible.

 

Man, this batch of Highway to Haze looks good. ..

 

Yup. Excited to pop in tomorrow for H2H and Van Hazen crowlers for the Super Bowl. Feels like the right way to live

 

Tastes as good as it looks. Blew me away today.

 

Guess that's another trip to the city this week. Looks awesome.

 

Stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised to see Bendy Meme still on draft. That was solid as was the new Van Hazen. I probably liked Highway to Haze the most of the 3. Motueka is an overpowering hop to me so I got that a lot in VH and H2H. But the galaxy in H2H was a standout.

Whats the haze situation looking like? Website shows H2B and Van Hazen currently available. Is that right?
