Free Bud Light at Eagles Championship Parade

I'd rather pay to drink something I'd enjoy especially since this is a once in a lifetime opportunity (for now).

 

People were pissing off the stop of street lights in Philly after the game. Wonder what free beer is going to add to this parade on Thursday? I'm a Philadelphia lifer and die hard fan, but we certainly didn't help our already tainted reputations after that game. Even with that GO BIRDS SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!! Just no one else eat horse poop on camera please!

The replays of the same car burning and the same awning being brought down seemed to only highlight the fact that the media wanted to only show the bad. Either way, a Philly win = $$$$ in my pocket. My side business just got a huge windfall because of it.

Well, if the line at the Paoli train station to get tickets for Thursday is any indication, an alternative is what's needed.
I was going to philly for a Monk's dinner last night, and the traffic around Paoli was just nuts, took me almost half an hour to go less than a mile, missed the Amtrak train, and the line was wrapped around the building and went up to Valley Rd, several hundred people. I couldn't even get in the building. Insane. At least they were polite, and let me walk through to the platform.

 

May be the wrong thread here but Evil Genius releasing their 'Fly Like An Eagle' cans today at 4. Anyone have an idea on what the line will be like or how long they should last? Thanks

I'll be attending, and I'll probably even snag a free Bud Light or 2. Because sometimes it's better to just go out and have fun than have to try to show off your good taste and proclaim how terrible the free beer is, you know??

 

Find a back route into the city, park a few miles away and hoof it. That's my plan. After the debacle in 2008 I have no interest in relying on SEPTA.
