Time will tell where the trades end up with the Henna b3. I've had most of the BC variants and all the Hennas, and I wouldn't trade the Henna b1 or b3 for any BC variant (other than maybe Backyard Rye, which is my favorite BC beer... I actually traded a Henna b2 + Reserve for one). That's not because I believe Henna b1 or b3 are worth more than VR or Prop 14 or whatever, but because I prefer the Henna b1 and b3 to most of the BC variants. I don't care about the secondary values so that plays no part in why I would or wouldn't trade for them.

For someone else, they may be willing to give up both Henna b3 for VR, Prop 14, etc... and that's perfectly acceptable also.

Yes, that was the special keg that was tapped on that evening. I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of Smore Luv. I may still prefer Double Rainbow over it, but it's close.

Just to clarify, no one has had the batch they are bottling. Shaun’s note from the original bottle announcement says that the NYE S’mores batch was a test run and that the batch they are bottling is the result of them “dialing it in” after feedback from NYE. So we may have a jumping off point but not the finished product they are bottling.

That could be a good thing. I loved what I had on New Year's Day. It had slightly more bitter chocolate and maybe a tad less graham cracker than I remember Smore Luv being. But that's picking nits. Really pumped for this one

Wow...I can't wait to get my pour next Sunday. I already have a trade setup for one of my b3 bottles that day. I hope it's not TOO good, where I regret trading it away.

That's even more (see what I did there?) encouraging! I though the one on New Year's had great flavors and thick/chewy mouthfeel. If the bottled version is an improvement upon that,... damn.

I can't wait for someone (that's not me and is super cereal) to post "NYE test batch > than b3." It'll be splendiforous.

Bruh, there's already a brewery in Iowa that takes that niche.

The test batch I did enjoy more than b2, so would be hard to make it worse than b2. I just don’t see it (b3) getting a huge amount better with just the tweaking of the same ingredients. b1 will remain the best of the 3 more than likely. IMO

Is there any possible chance it might be on tap earlier than Saturday? I'm coming down to Chicago that Thursday and will be right next to it.

I’m going to say doubtful. Other Hennas, especially Double Rainbow, have randomly been put on tap at times unannounced but I’m just not sure he would do that with S’more especially since Shaun already announced that he will make it available to general public after Sunday’s designated pick-up time end. But again, this is just my opinion.

I'd say semi-randomly -- twice during can releases and also on New Year's Eve?
