Bread and Honey in NYC. I’ve never had problems there before - their cans can be pricey but their growlers are usually reasonable and they’ve got good service.

 

Sounds like the lines at that bar need to be cleaned or were not properly flushed out after cleaning. Can't blame the beer or the brewery when you filled your growler someplace else.

 

That’s totally fair, and I didn’t mean to blame the brewery - although, upon reflection, I could see why it seemed that I did. I mostly meant to say I had a similar experience to someone else recently. I wouldn’t have posted at all otherwise.

 

No one wants to comment on the new labels?

 

They've been getting better and better, and I think their recent merch is lookin good too!

 

They had one or two cases of Fluctuation left when I stopped by earlier. Made my night.

Sooooo anyone try the beers from this weekend's release? Curious as to how they're tasting, esp the Fool's Equipoise!

Very tempted to go to this event at Fools Gold. Never been to the bar but have heard plenty about it - any idea if I should expect this event to be a crowded shitshow?

There’s a Monkish event at Other Half, an Answer event at Torst, a Trve event at Proletariat and something at As Is, so I think the NYC beer crowd will be pretty spread out.

 

So how early is that line forming this Saturday? I’m trying the ole divide and conquer between HVB and EQ.

 

Drive to EQ and get a ticket around 6-7 AM, then drive to HV and get a wristband. Then drive back to EQ and get your full allotment at open, then drive back to HV and get your full allotment.
