Cracked open a bottle of Griffith J Griffith Batch 3 in celebration of recent events related to hand egg. Still pretty smooth, but the coffee is practically non-existent. Serves me right for waiting until now to open it.

I probably should crack open the Batch 4s I have relatively soon now, huh?

 

I’m the worst about opening coffee beers soon. Still have like 2014 ba speedways

 

Sometimes you just have to wait for the right weather to enjoy a nice heavy, coffee beer! But it's California so those moments are few and far between!

 

Wait, is this the future? The coffee hasn't even gone in batch 4 yet!

 

Whoopsie doodle, I meant the BA batch 3 bottles. But, like, CAN it be the future now?

 

2014 bavss = tasting great still
2014 bass = wonderfully delicious, it was even put on draft this past weekend along with '15 on cask and '16 on draft
2009 bass = supposedly it is beer but tasted like liquid dark chocolate to me
2007 bass = not my bottle, nor was I around when a buddy opened it, but he was getting the sherry wine taste....so that is likely about as far back as one could go

 

The future is now! GJG batch 4 is getting ready for coffee next Monday.

One of my favorite beers, so simple but yet so complex.

 

I opened b3 last weekend and it definitely lost a lot of the coffee. Was a little thin but still great. I do wish I hadn't waited so long to open it.

 

So basically I should start drinking all of my GJG bottles.. Woooooweeeee is that gonna be alot lol

 

I guess PtY brings out the TIPA in everyone...

 

This beer sounds right up my alley. Here's to hoping this release is a lot like the last few, where I'll still be able to grab a few 4-packs after I get off work at 6!

Wouldn't mind being able to grab a shirt or glass either.

 

I'm guessing this will bring out the hazebros unfortunately, for me. don't think I'll be able to get over there till later eve. life is hard

 

Had no idea wtf you guys were talking about until i saw the email. Doubt it will sell out but if it helps you, ill prolly only get one pack due to it being $24 a pack.. Eeesshhhh

 

It's hazy and it's a TIPA. Methinks this will sell out before I am able to get there (around 5:30-ish).

 

Didnt cloud party last a day and didnt sell out till late Saturday afternoon? That was a hazy ipa..or were ppl too broke from maxing out their weekly check on monkish Friday release?

 

Also hoping that since everyone and their mother is making a TIPA these days will make it a quieter release

 

Mumford can release also at 2pm tomorrow. Think that'll help fend off the hazebros for awhile?

 

I mean if anything I'd think it'd be worse as they're already migrating in for Mumford, someone will mention that HPB is only a short drive north for more haze.
