ACE should last until Saturday I’d bet. It’s released frequently enough to make me think no one is going to drop what they’re doing and rush there in this weather.

    You’re there and that’s the vibe? Or you’re theory-vibing?

I will follow that up with this review that OH doesn't give as much of a big punchy, juicy, sucking on a fruit Citra note as some others in DDH citra beers, but that this batch is nice. It isn't as aromatic some OH takes on Citra which I appreciate. There's a bit of malt sweetness and a bit of grassiness on the nose.

How’s this batch of DDH ACE tasting?

Anyone get a chance to try the new stout? Worth the price tag?

Would you expect any of the cans to sell out early this Saturday? I'll be getting to the brewery around 11

You never know for sure, but even though a couple of the beers are new, they aren't the type that I'd typically expect to sell out that quickly.

11 is usually the sweet spot to get all 4 beers with little to no line. If any of the 4 were to sell out that quickly I'd imagine it would be Forever Simcoe, but even then I don't think it's as popular as any of the other single hop double IPAs OH have done. IMO it's one of the best and am looking forward to having it again.

Someone start a pool where you have to predict the order in which the Saturday drop will sell out.

Regarding the Forever Simcoe, does anybody know how the last few batches have been? When I had it early last summer it blew my mind, but heard that some of the batches since then seemed kinda off.

I think there was a canning late last year that everyone pronounced off, but I had it on draft and rather enjoyed it.

A note on DDH ACE - I know they like/maybe feel they they must release new beers all the time and silly merch with mr. hankey on it to pay the bills and keep the hype train rolling. But man, this batch of DDH ACE is just complete fire. And it's been that way since they first made it a couple years ago. It would be really nice if they made some of these "core" beers available more often, like once a month maybe, and in larger quantities, so people could just stock up on the stuff they like.

Said it before, will say it again: they need an “OH Classics” fridge always stocked with heavies like ACE, DMD and Hop Showers.

This one comes out pretty regulary, probably not once a month, and it is usually easier to get then the hyped beers, especially if it is a double batch. But I agree if this one and some of the others were easy to get all the time, that would be a great thing. Maybe one the day the hype will die down and you won't have everyone and their mother maxing out on every beer every week.

If you haven't already, please update this doc. Looking forward to meeting everyone and hopefully seeing some people that I know already.

I should probably know this, but is the Other Half BeerMenus page accurate?
