What Do You Buy By The Case?

I normally get a Celebration case as soon as it hits the shelf here. I will be doing the same for Sucks this year even if it is only 90% as good as last year. If it is the same quality as last year, I will be doing that multiple times. Although, now that it will year round, I might not be as fervent about its procurement after round one. haha

Weyerbacher Insanity/Heresy/Quad every year.....every year!! What a great lineup!!

 

Being in PA, I've been more case inclined than a lot of BAs here. Since the GE's are building up a nice selection I haven't been buying as many though.

Things I plan to/still would buy by the case :

Troegs HopBack Amber
Troegs Nugget Nectar
Great Lakes Eliot Ness
Ithaca Flower Power

Over the past year, I know I've bought cases of : SNPA, Troegs HopBack, Brooklyn Lager, Franziskaner, Rogue Dead Guy, Torpedo, Tumbler, Beer Camp, Victory HopDevil, Yuengling Octoberfest, SA Boston Lager...surely I'm forgetting a few.

 

Last spring I bought a case of Nugget Nectar. that's the only time I've ever bought an entire case of one kind of craft.

 

I like that you don't have to buy in cases at the brewery anymore.

I agree. Nothing was worse than a case of their pumpkin ale. Great pumpkin and my favorite but not a case....I am up to 2 cases of the ones I posted a year just for drinking 1 and aging the other. I have all the way back to 2002 of these 3 beers!!

 

Seeing the Winter Sampler out already sent me to my shop for 2 cases of SA Octoberfest before they disappear. I love the caramel/toffee in that beer and the lingering aftertaste. That makes 3 that I am sitting on. I hope that holds out till Hopslam and GI Mild Winter show up. I always grab a case or two of each as well.

buy enough "other stuff" and it is not a problem. Just buy more, when in doubt.

Only one thing: Victory at Sea.

 

I've bought two beers by the case: Heady Topper and Burton Baton. The Burton Baton was 1 cent thanks to winning a raffle.

Nothing really. But as far as more than 1 pack, it would be Rayon Vert, FBS, 668 and Tank 7.
