Yeah, it was today. Saw a picture of the line wrapped around the building. Not sure if that was just the line before it started, or during. Place brews a NE IPA and that happens. Ha

 

Brewery is one year old and has two IPA cans sell out while I was at fat heads having a marzen

 

Holy shit, you serious? Forget I asked.

Their ipas are good, but nothing is worth waiting in line.

 

Maybe Heinen's will sell it to-go in FUCKING 64 OUNCE GROWLERS again .... Good lord what were they thinking!?

BTW.....which one of you delinquents bought 9 cases at Masthead?!

 

They fill 32oz growlers too.. I remember getting a 32oz fill of Straight Jacket for $6, which was an insane deal for a beer like that.. I don't really mess with the 64oz, but it makes sense if you're sharing with others or going to a tasting or something like that..

 

Lol. I saw the guy sitting there with the cases stacked up behind him. I was like wth and dam that is a lot of money.

 

He'll drink 4 of them and trade the rest.

for all u hazy ipa fanboys and girls, had Sixth Sense Cosmic Sun out at Draft Room in Westerville today, these guys r brewing good neipa out of middle of nowhere Jackson, OH.

 

I sampled Murk Juice and Murkimus Juicus at the last Hoof release and was very impressed.

 

That was like Xmas Day. I think I asked them to fill 4 32oz growlers and tag them with 2 64oz labels.

Wonder if it will shelf turd in IL like years past? I was able to buy a few bottles over Memorial Day last year.

 

Anyone else think Platform aims at Juju with their Hubris IPA? Last night was the first time I'd had it and its potency and hop cocktail really seemed like it to me. Obviously, that's a mark that almost no one is going to even come close to, so I don't think it's an insult to say it's more like a light version, despite its ABV, and doesn't quite get there. It is a bit hot though...

 

I enjoyed Hubris. It's a big beer at !2% and you do taste some alcohol. Heck of a price @ 10.99 a 6-pack.

 

I think it tastes more like Bodhi, with more booze.

 

I had it at the Cincy Beerfest. I wouldn't put it on par with Juju or Bodhi, but it was really good even though it claims 275 IBU, lol.

 

I saw yesterday Lizardville tweet that they will have a few offerings on draft next week from Half Acre. Also found out that there will be package coming next week from Half Acre that will hit the market. I personally LOVE Daisy Cutter!
