Don't count on tickets alleviating any knucklehead behavior, actually it probably encourages it while waiting in lines. Last years line went all the way out to Western then turned south almost to the end of the block, videos of bro's so wasted hours before the actual event was pretty hilarious and pathetic at the same time.

They've only done ticketed parties since they started doing IPA's.
This was their 2nd anniversary. At about 1pm.

It was myself, and a couple in the back and a couple in the tasting room.
I ended up having 2 Seme Della Vita's, saying congrats to Adriana and stopping at Fantastic and then heading to Smog.

 

That was always my go-to back in the day. Crux was a reliable one as well.

 

And Rosa's Hips. I keep badgering them to bring it back

 

Rosa's Hips was great! If I go by my oldest Untappd and RateBeer ratings two of my favorites were apparently Altar Boy and False Prophet. I don't remember either of those, though.

I ended up waiting in line for a Black Kisses magnum, which I haven't done in quite a while. Might just be my birthday bottle. I remember why I tend not to go to releases anymore.

Didn't get regular bottles because I just...forgot.

Walk on By Vienna Lager was still on fills. STILL. And that was phenomenal. Tom, Dick, and Henry was pretty tasty. But, I'm finding out I really like Vic's Secret Hops. Black Kisses though? Man, I regret not getting bottles.

RE: Old School Monkish. I rather miss it too. Having all the pours I want of Semme was my idea of a really boozy heaven. Caffe is also sorely missed. Also miss the random movies playing in the tap room.

I'm actually considering going, hoping the $100 price point will draw a certain crowd.

What do you guys think? Is it destined to be an event heavily attended by the worst folks in craft beer or could it be a fun, mellow time?

What about the space? How crowded will it be with 500 people?

 

I wonder what beer will be smuggled out in vials?

 

It will be both.

Are the food trucks free? That’s a pretty hefty price tag.

 

500 people in that tiny space. The entire 4 hours is going to be spent in long ass lines just trying to get beer
