what a line! hopefully they figure out a better method. I don't mind waiting in line, but after getting cans it was about 15 minutes in another line to order food. I stuck around until the 2:00 release and the lines were gone. if they ever can the variants they had on draft watch out.

heard this as well. guess I'm not skipping this one as I had planned. please do $35 tickets.

 

I really hope they charge full price of the 2/11 release.

 

with it being a new konkey AND a new clipboard.. doesn't matter what they charge this will be instant sell out territory

 

On a side note, Dork tastes great. Haven't tried Fwendz yet.

 

I've looked all over the Hoof facebook page and can't find a ticket. Would someone mind sharing here?

 

NVM -- I thought the release was this Sunday and it is on the 11th. My bad.

 

with the $5 ticket, no shows must be the highest by far. increased no-shows, less draft sales?? They implemented the 4:00 rule to combat that. but idk if it works, I'm long gone. if they really wanted to increase drafts sales, have a spot that is draft only. once I go thru the line, you can't decide to drink another draft unless its later in the day.

With partial pre-pay, the only thing they needed to ask was if you wanted more and charge you. nothing different than asking if you want a glass or coffee, a hat or last week's beer.

$35 pre-pay weeds out anyone out-of-state (or anyone really) who doesn't have a regular mule.

 

I'm behind.. but this is the first I'm hearing about a HH/OH collab. Is there art or anything for it?

 

And it's only gonna be at OH and not Hoof?

 

packed for sure....that rain was bad! usually we get pretty lucky with weather at Hoof, temps were warmer than I thought so traveling was not a problem.

...not too happy they decided to wait to sell dork at 4:00. all week it was posted on the event page and day or two before they change it. I'm usually not a complainer, but this one made no sense.

Both beers were ridiculous imo. some of the best they've done, especially as of late.

 

How does the non-ticket, 4PM line typically play out? I’ve only gone up there with a ticket and left well before 4PM. I thought about showing up at 4:30PM yesterday but the place looked mobbed.

 

It really depends on the release. Normally not a problem to get a 4 pack of each, but when it's like yesterday, the line was crazy and not everyone in line got beer. I don't think I've seen a day where Hoof stayed so constantly busy. Parking was at a premium all day.

 

Had a great time at the release, even though I couldn't feel my toes by the end. Had awesome beer in line, got to enjoy watching people fall all over the place, was just annoyed at the change to Dork after 4, but it's whatever. I got a growler of it instead at least.

Oh, and that damn Penang Chicken at Fetti's mmmmmmmmm I swear it's half the reason I come to these releases.

 

Well that's not what I was expecting. FWIW these were cracked at the same time but at two different locations. I took the second picture. No filters were used.
