Lol, did you guys see them troll everyone with that poll to release the tap list on their Instagram story?

 

Must be a Tampa/Huna beer week event?

 

There are a few things going on in Tampa that day. Hidden Springs is releasing a lot of stuff that day, including Kitten Kong (followup to Cat Kong). But I saw some people on the Instagram post saying there were two other local events in Miami.

 

Was just told it’s march 17th now. To avoid Tampa bay beer festivities.

 

Considering Tampa is 4 hours from Miami, to me that seems like a really goofy ass reason to move any kind of event in Miami. The presence of other local releases made a bit more sense to me, so assumed a less drastic move would occur...hmm

 

Anything official out about this? Hate to plan a trip based on heresay.

March 3rd is the Florida Brewers Guild fest in Tampa. Great fest and good to see everyone in town for it but I highly doubt this would have delayed the bottle release. I'm guessing it overlapped with something in that area but I haven't been paying attention to what events are coming up in Miami.

Wakefest overlaps with the Miami boat show and that sucks for reasonable hotel rooms but not sure what is going on March 3rd.

 

Not sure if related, but Boxelder’s 3rd anniversary party is that day. Seems a bit silly to me to postpone a highly anticipated, yearly release if that is the reasoning though. If anything, I’d think a bottle release that morning would only draw people to the area and increase traffic for Boxelder’s.

Are 6 or 12 bottle shippers sold locally anywhere in Miami?

 

You can order them and have them shipped to your hotel. Maybe Uhaul as well.

 

Going at 10am on Friday, then up to Civil for their gose release. Anxious!!

 

Any releases or events tomorrow morning? I land at FLL around 11am and will be driving down to Key West

 

Attending Wakefest for the first time in VIP this weekend! Pretty stoked on the taplist so far. Any tips from vets of the event on lines, how soon beers kick, etc? Are all beers released at the start of the day or are some timed tapings? I don't want to waste my early entry hour! Also, are there water stations/pitchers like huna day? Thanks in advance for any help!!
