Yes. Would only revisit on tap for $7 but glad I have a second bottle also. I feel like the quality matched the market like you said.. $25

It's on an equal level with Chevelier Bertrand as far as quality and enjoyment. Can't decide which I prefer.

I personally believe it's worth the price and fun adventurous beer Floyds put out

I will answer your turd-ity with more turdishness. If you think a beer might be too expensive, it probably is.

    What I mean is...

Many bombers are in the $20+ price. Some are good, some are bad. Some we seem "worth" it, some "not." Subjectively saying that something tastes good says nothing about whether you would buy it again given your rating and the price.

That's what a I was getting at. Perhaps I should have spelled it out a bit more.

If you think $25 is proper pricing for Chevelier Bertrand then it's proper pricing here.

The differences are obvious but like I said this has hints of Bertrand as if the two beers were separated at birth except Argues for Sport is the more educated and complex lost child. It's grand cru aspects combined with the puckering sweet and sour of Bertrand work well together.

Long story short. It's a Floyds sour. A unique one that I enjoyed

How did FFF get a bronze from Rate Beer's best Strong Stouts for 2017 for Aquavit Barrel Aged Dark Lord? Did they make more of this or did they win for a two year old beer?

Yeah don't they do an Aquavit treatment at their festival every year?

I still have a bottle, have no idea what it will taste like. Never had any version of anything aged in those kinds of barrels--sounds a little sketchy.

I've read many times people saying "very sweet." -For what that's worth.

It is very good. I had it at 2015 DL. Though given what aquavit is made with, perhaps some may find it a bit dilly, dilly.

I clearly have no idea what aquavit is. I see the pun now - I just thought you were in some way specifically referencing the commercial.

    Thanks.

I actually had a pour of Aquavit in Denmark on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Tastes like a vodka liqueur

Not bad. Not good. Can't iimagine what it would do to Dark Lord

Did anyone else notice that 3F raised the cost of a ZD 6 pack 20%? Is that a typo? I see $12 instead of $10. When did this change happen?

$12 for a sixer of Zombie Dust is still a great price. $10/6-pack for so long was steal and half!

I've never even seen it for $10. Been buying it for years on a regular basis in the Indy area. Almost all stores sell it for $13.99-$14.99.

$10 is out the door brewpub price. Unscrupulous Chicago retailers sell it for $18,99.
