Any Yeti is awesome, you are correct. My 3 favorites at this point The Abyss, Mephistopheles, and Doris the Destroyer. Founders Imperial,KBS, and CBS all outstanding. Like you said there are so many.

It was Nightstalker, but Goose is temporarily retiring it. Other than that I'd say it's probably Old Rasputin or BORIS as far as year round releases go. If we're talking seasonals/limited releases I'm very fond of Tyranena's Doubly Down 'N Even Dirtier as well as Cigar City's Hunahpu.

Good to see some Mephistopheles and Samuel Smith love! Those are two of my favorite beers EVER.

I'd also throw in World Wide Stout...any age, really.

ten fidy and old raspy simply because i don't have to sit in a line for forty days just to come away with an idea of what the label looks like.

If you don't like imperial stouts why even respond to this thread? Old Rasputin is the farthest thing from a drain pour. I'd be happy to drink whatever you have left. However, I agree Brooklyn Black Chocolate is a darn fine beer...

Call me a homer, but BORIS, Siberian Night, and Blackout are my favorites. Yes Old Rasputin, Founders, Yeti are good. I just cant get over those stouts.

The the fBA versions of the first 3 are top of their division as well.

Oak Aged Yeti is an awesome beer! My absolute favorites are:
    1. Older Viscosity
    2. Abyss
    3. KBS
    4. Parabola

    CBS completely blew me away.

BCBS is hard to beat as well (some of the most masterful barrel aging I have tasted). As for standards, Yeti (regular) is tops. Did a side-by-side of this and Ten FIDY and Yeti was easily the winner for my taste. Brooklyn Black Chocolate is also up there.

Brooklyn Black Chocolate, the Yeti lineup, and BORIS & DORIS as far as everyday drinkers.
GI BCBS, Parabola, Ivan, Darkness and Black Magick for harder to get releases.

Really like Founders Imperial Stout. But for year round, I gotta go with Old Viscosity or Samuel Smiths Imperial Stout.

I agree with what others have said, there are just to many great RIS's to pick just one or two:
    BA Dark Lord
    Dark Lord
    Hunahpu
    KBS
    CBS
    Abyss
    Terra Pin WnB
    Yetti all varieties
The list really could go on for ever. RIS is my favorite style of beer.

I love RIS and it's probably my favorite style of beer to drink.
That said, I have a hard time listing favorites because there's just so many damn good ones out there!
    So much variety in flavors.

Anywho, like many have already said one of the most memorable RIS I had is old Raspy because it was the first RIS I ever had and it blew me away with how much was going on. I still love having one every so often. ten Fidy is another memorable surprise and I also agree with the Sam Smith RIS. WWS is good too, but I like mine with a little age, it can be a little harsh IMO when fresh.
