    Yes, I do.

I buy a four-pack on Friday afternoon. I come home, have a couple beers. Then I think, "Hey you know what? I'm going to have one more." That's three. I have one beer remaining for Saturday.

Saturday afternoon comes. I open the fridge and I see that I only have one beer. "Damn, I need to buy more because I don't want only one beer."

This never happens when I buy a six pack. I can drink two or three or even four on a Friday night and look in the fridge Saturday and still have enough beer for the night.

Conclusion: 6 Packs > 4 packs. And often they're less expensive. Damn $13.99 four packs around Boston.

It must be so surprising to you every time you find out people do things differently than you! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Seriously? Not everyone has room for a dozen choices in the fridge and/or room for a cellar.

Pretty sure he wasn't. Went into too much detail about what he usually has on hand.

Ummm, I have fridge just for beer in the cellar. Plus a closet for beer, plus some shelves. I thought that was " normal" ? Ok. not everyone has a cellar, but a beer fridge. We had a big snow storm a few years back, my boss asked if I had to go to the store for more beer. Response? " I haven't run out of beer since 9th grade"

1 kind of beer? Only? Preposterous. Thought these here pages were full of nerds, geeks, reviewers and beer advocates?

Hmmm, what do you drink the rest of the week? Try some 12 packs of Sierra Nevada, Harpoon, Notch or such. $ 13 -15.00 around me. Jacks Abby has 6 x 16 ozs for $ 10 on their seasonals.

Mostly wine and gin, if I’m drinking during the week. Also, yes, lots of Jacks. House or Post Shift, mostly.

Awesome, besides the beer, wine cellar plus the bourbon, rye, scotch and such. I started a poll too.

Here's one that drives me nuts - abbreviating Bourbon County Stout as BCBS.

It should be abbreviated BCS like it used to be. Unless you're the kind of guy that says "I'm going to grab a Band-Aid Brand Bandage for my finger", then stop putting "Brand" in the middle of the acronym. It's stupid. Do you say "Bourbon County Brand Stout" out loud? Of course you don't - because it sounds ridiculous. So stop including it in the acronym.

    BCS.

    <phew>

I've been wanting to get that one off my chest for years. Thanks.

What's the legal drinking age in Massachusetts? Did kids open Treehouse?

BCS was already taken by Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout.

It says "Bourbon County Brand Stout" on the label. Granted, "Bourbon County" is in a larger font than "Brand Stout", but if that matters then the name should just be "Bourbon County". I believe "Brand" is part of the name, as ridiculous as some may find that.

IMO it's still the most enjoyable IPA on the market.

    Abbreviations in general.

Beer nerds are OBSESSED with acronyms. Dude, I have no clue what this 3 letter code is for a hyper rare, local beer. Help me out!!
