    Princeton's MG got Junkyard Wicked Awesome Slurry iipa and Poncho Goddess chocolate stout in this morning and had a BA King Size crowler open they were giving customers samples of, nice way to start the week.

    Thanks for the heads up on this one! They also had a bunch of different Pipeworks, which I haven't seen there before, but maybe I haven't been paying enough attention.

    Wild Mind is releasing 2 barrel-aged Imperial stouts in Crowlers on Saturday. This is from Facebook:

    “CROWLER RELEASE // Double Depth Charge and DDC: Whiskey Bean

    Double Depth Charge returns this weekend with a tweaked recipe to provide an even richer, more full-bodied stout with a creamy, decadent finish. And this time we have an extra special variant.

    DDC is an imperial stout that was barrel aged on Cameroonian coffee beans and offers notes of brown sugar, pecans and chocolate to accompany a very heavy malt bill and a pleasantly warming ABV of 11.5 percent.

    We’ll also have crowlers of DDC: Whiskey Bean — a bigger, bolder version with an abundance of whiskey and coffee flavors. Aged on whiskey barrel-aged coffee beans, DDC: Whiskey Bean is a blend of DDC and a stout that was aged in Knob Creek whiskey barrels for more than a year, resulting in whiskey, whiskey, and more whiskey to accompany a burst of roasty malt and coffee.

    A limited amount of each will be available on tap starting Saturday, February 17, along with plenty of crowlers to get you through the latest cold streak. We’ll also have some new coffee mugs for you to help you enjoy Wild Mind at any time of day.”

    It's complicated. I like France 44 for the rep rapport and the walk in cooler, but also consider South Lyndale Liquor, Zipps, Heritage Liquor and Ale Jail to be worthy vendors. Elevated also is very good, as are the various locations of Total Wine.

    Zipps consistently has the best prices and best single selection of beer imho.
    Although their liquor (bourbon/scotch for me) isn't as expansive as SLL or France 44.
