Big Beer is good for craft beer consumers.

 

I personally find aging 99% of beers to be detrimental. Basically anything that isn't a barleywine or mixed fermentation sour...and I'm not sure aging actually helps either of those, it just makes them different.

 

You gotta be more inflammatory with this, bro. Something like, "Aged BBA imperial stouts taste like soy sauce."

 

Craft beer made me appreciate macro beers 10x more than I used to. Outside of a Heineken or Corona Light sitting in the sun I've never had a bad one.

 

They taste like spare change sitting in blood-infused teriyaki sauce!

 

FTFY. Plus, mead isn't beer, so it wouldn't come up here.

Small and local doesn't automatically mean better.

I actually like Ballast Point and am fine with their prices.

 

That bit's a fallacy, but here goes:

The long and the short of it is that two problems with craft beer are price and availability and Big Beer can solve both issues.
