Other Half February 2018

Damn it! Just when I thought I had an original idea.

 

Just another reminder, we are getting close! Also, I will run a little contest with a prize to the winner!

 

Logistically, how is this going to work? The tap room is typically crowded at 12pm, is everyone going to meet up at a specific location in the tap room?

 

A day or so before, I will post what I will be wearing and people can look for me. Hopefully it is not jammed. I did reach out to OH multiple times through their events page to see if we could get a private area, but they never responded.

And depending who comes, I do at least already know some people. not sure if @rozzom is coming, but if he is, he has offered to come in full bike gear ( including spandex) so he will be easy to spot as the anchor of the group.

 

Haha I still don’t know. We were meant to be going away this weekend, now we might not be - but my wife won’t give me a straight answer.

If I come though, of course I will be in my tightest kit. It will leave nothing to the imagination I promise

And Folksbier is the back up plan if it’s too busy right?

 

Feels like i’m wearing, nothing at all....

 

Give your wife an ultimatum and tell her unless she gives you a straight answer by 3pm EST today, going away is off the table !

And yes, if OH is packed, we do have a back-up plan to move to Folksbier, hopefully it won't come to that.

 

I'm hoping I'll be able to make it, I'm on antibiotics at the moment which means no drinking. Its torture every time I open my fridge and see the anniversary beers which I haven't been able to try yet.

 

If all else fails I will stand on a table and cry out "Beer Advocates ASSEMBLE!" and hopefully not get kicked out.

 

Sadly I'll be out of town but I look forward to the random meeting in the taproom or the next gathering.

 

I plan on getting to OH around 11ish to grab cans so I will bring X amount of jackets and hold spots for all you guys in the taproom after.

 

If the Other Half BA group can't meet at Other Half, it will be the ultimate FU to the locals. Can't wait...

 

I’ll be muling that days release if any of you are interested and not going prior to meet up. Typically $10/4 pack but BA mates rates is $9

For real, though, now that I think about it, that would be the easiest way to both recognize each other and fully embrace the shame of coming out as a BA in the world of real humans...

 

Sure, feel free to come looking like your avatar, will make finding you very easy ! You can use your crystal ball to foretell the next 4 releases and what percent of them will have lactose in them!

Bummed I’m gonna miss this. Hopefully it’s a success and happens again. Kids off of school next week and we’re splitting town early. Take pics! (With name tags).
