Don't get me wrong, would love to have a good brewery in my backyard, but...

Sweet - only a few pennies an ounce moor to get a growler at Mkt District Strongsville. About a nickel more M-W @ the source.

I bet it will be cheaper when it taps at local Heinen’s

Question: I went to Saucy tonight before a concert across the street and was thinking about their BA stout or porter when the bartender told me it was $8 for a 5 ounce pour. I ordered a perfectly fine blond ale but was wondering if anyone else thinks that's quite steep in price.

I paid $20 for a below average small pizza and an average(if I’m being generous)beer. Answer your question? Not a big fan, myself.

Let’s be fair...they have to pay back that 8 million dollar brewery tab of theirs and the cans they put out on the market aren’t moving so they have to try other methods. I predict their equipment to be on clearance in a couple years.

I've been twice myself, both times were terrible. One of the worst new breweries to open in Cleveland recently (that I've tried, at least).

Surprised with the feedback that Saucy's beers are "terrible". Kolsch is the best in the city. Really good Kristalweizen. Hoppy beers need work and spiced/flavored beers aren't my thing, but all their beers were clean. They trounce places like Terrestrial and Sibling IMO.

Still a bigger fan of Masthead and Noble though.

    Yeah Sibling....not so much.

Saucy's pizza...I liked it. Thought the atmosphere with the gigantic projector screen was a little obnoxious, but if there isn't a UofM vs. OSU game on it's fine.

The timing of Saucy and Masthead's openings, the buildings they're in and their interior buildouts are all oddly similar, albeit bigger on the Masthead side of things. I'd really love to know more about how these new breweries can open such massive places, but either way I would take Masthead in every area.

I wouldn’t say Saucy’s beers are terrible, but nothing special. If their Kolsch is better than Jack Straw, I need to try one.

Funny you should mention...there was actually a sea of maize and blue while we were there. The OSU fans present looked genuinely oppressed, even though the game was a gimme. I felt like I was in Michigan, there were people upstairs and downstairs walking around with Wolverine shirts and jerseys on. Not sure why, may have been some medical conference nearby.
