    Greetings all,
I was doing a bit of research on the legal issues of delivering micro beer to people, and it looks like there is a legal purchase limit in CT of 288 oz. Now with that being said. Would being a registered distributor need to be the next best thing in this case? Any help would be appreciated.

The legal limit by a brewery is 9 liters. A distributor cannot sell to individuals directly. There are beer delivery services, but they go thru liquor stores. Not sure exactly what you're asking, hope that helps.

just trying to see if it is legal possible to start a micro brewery delivery service without putting a limit on buying

No, it's not. The limit is less important than the fact that there is no CT Liquor license available for this type of service. Breweries are allowed to sell directly to consumers from their physical location, but nothing exists that would allow someone (you or the brewery) to take orders and then deliver beer to people. And I'm fairly certain that if someone tried to get the law changed to allow beer delivery directly from breweries to consumers, the distributors and liquor store associations would fiercely oppose it.

There is a service that exists nationally and delivers alcohol products to consumers in parts of CT, it's called Drizly. You place the order through Drizly and it goes to a local liquor store which delivers the product to the consumer. That is allowed, but not anything directly from a brewery.

Looks like you can only order Wine and Liquor not not beer from Drizly to CT.
