Secret tappings are the best. Had 3 10 oz pours of PtY yesterday at Churchill's. No lines, not crowded at all. You just had to know how to ask for it.

As others have said, it's a good Triple IPA. There are better (I'm partial to Miser, and was knocked out by that collab between Alpine/Mikkeller/Abnormal, Devil's Triangle I think it was called). It pops up often enough that you should be able to try it without too much effort if you keep your ear to the ground.

I’ll do my annual work at pizza port Tuesday - Thursday for their surprise tapping. Last 3 years I usually get two pours and wait 5 min. Worst case I work from pizza port and enjoy their other fine beer options.

Secret word/phrase. Anyone who was there wouldn't have much difficulty finding it out, seeing as everyone was ordering it.

 

It’s hard to go from never waiting in line to waiting hours. But I agree no beer is evver worth that long of a wait.

 

From what google tells me, Devil's Triangle's a 7% Nelson IPA. I have it on my "I want that" list with a note "supposed to be like OG Nelson". Apples and oranges, but yeah, I'd take that over Younger as well.

 

I think I got it mixed up with Alpha Voyager, but Devil's Triangle was nice too.
