Controversial Beer Opinions Thread

If we can agree on things how can they be controversial?

Not necessarily. They have to choose to share that option and some don't.

 

Just saying there would be much more "hype" if it was in a densely populated area. The fact that it's in one of the least populous states in the country, in a rural area means a lot of people have to do some significant traveling to get there. Anyway- I plan on going back in May, cannot wait!

While I'm still on page 1, I'll give you my opinion.

I was at a small brewpub recently, where a medium sized dog was inside and barking/yapping. The yapping was high pitched and bouncing off the walls.. piercing my eardrums. We finished our only beer and left.

Kids have never bothered me that much.

 

Stories like this reinforce the fact that most people are just dicks.

But you realize that they have the capacity, right?

 

Should I have put a wink-y face by that so you would know that it was tongue-in-cheek?

BTW, try going back to page 14 of this thread and you'll easily find there's more than 1 out 50 who don't gender identify in their Avatar information.

 

Not sure why I'm included in your obviously taken out of context post, I want more women to enjoy this site; In fact, I want more people in general to enjoy this site!

Just following the trail of casual misogynism (but there should have been a wink, so that's ok) preceding an inquiry of where the ladies at. Yes, the boy's club of BA may be a little intimidating.

If there's any misogyny by me, it's accidental not casual. I mean, I can give you purposeful misogyny, if you want, but that wouldn't be a good look for me and definitely wouldn't be a good representation of myself or the beer community at large.

 

Absolutely! There are times however, you can't have the latter, without the former.

I have yet to have any child(ren) bother/annoy me in a bar/brewery setting.

I've yet to have a dog annoy me in any setting ever, kids on the other hand can be the devil (insert Delta freak out child joke here)
