Stone did that and brought a keg of Locoveza to the northern lights rare beer fest. Classless.

They have a contact page for Stone Berlin - I've had good success contacting them through their usual contact channels.

Maybe you haven't had a good coffee beer? Maybe you don't like coffee? Maybe you don't like coffee in your beer?

One of my biggest pet peeves is that if a beer is described as having such and such flavors, then make damn sure those flavors are present in the beer.

Also, if the beer is described as a certain style, then it better taste like an example of that style.

Lately beers that call themselves NE IPA's but are really hazy, bitter IPA's. Not that I don't like them either way, I like both bitter and non bitter juicy IPA's, but it bugs me when they just doesn't live up to expectations.

There needs to be a name for this, because hazy/unfiltered can mean anything flavorwise. I propose WC NE IPA's, or, if that is too unwieldy, "Damn we Wish we were Monkish First" IPA's.

Brands who go against their heritage and jump deep into the trend pool. Victory would be a great example...leaving behind their German mastery to make way for blood orange IPA, Agave IPA, Sour Monkey, Kirsch Gose, Limey Gose etc.

Just put a fucking date on your cans. How are you gonna use a tick marking system? Talk about lazy. Oh and I love when there's a date on the can and it's all smudged together. Totally legible. Or when a bottle has a date, but the color of the date is the color of the bottle. But I love when it says "02/20/2018". What does that mean? Drink by then? Was packaged then? Was it brewed on that date?

Only brewery I have huge respect for is Weyerbacher. They put a bottled date AND! a drink by date. They'll let you know if the beer should be enjoy within two or four years or whether the beer has a three to six month shelf life. That's all I want.

these micro breweries in the northwest PA area, that seem to be popping up like crazy, who make beer that tastes like water. Then when you try to order a beer over 8% abv they tell you that you can only have two of them, while some redneck across the bar gets a Michelob and a shot of whiskey every 20 minutes

My local beer store has a tendency to buy 12 packs in bulk (in a big way) to get deep discounts, but unfortunately the stock sits around for a long time, and then eventually wise consumers stop buying because they beers go beyond best buy dates. And then guess what, he stops carrying that item/brand. He did this with Otter Creek and now I no longer have access to their 12 packs/variety packs. And for me, those are great stock beers to have

Brand new breweries coming out of the gate with $19.99 four packs. Sorry, you need to earn that. Won't buy. Don't care if I'm missing out. And sorry, just because you're based in Brooklyn does not inherently make your beer worthy. Take your tall silver cans elsewhere.

When they add a new beer into the Mix a 6 section, and don't remember to put it in their POS system. Have to sit at the register for forever while they "figure" out the problem. Happened to me yesterday grabbing a Dogfish Romantic Chemistry!

Whole Foods will put brand nee releases in the mix section and sometimes not make them available for six pack purchases. That is worse.

Checked the internet and went for a certain beer they should have had, but they didn't. Kind of annoyed me.

When a full 16oz pour is half the cost (plus tip) of that same beer in 16oz four packs.

I'm fine with just calling it unfiltered. But, when you call it a NE IPA there's expectations that it should be juicy and not bitter, kind of surprises you when it's bitter and resiny.

Yup, I've contacted them about this and they told me that the problem really lies with the German retailers, many of which won't even stock any beer unless it has has a shelf life of at least 270 days . Apparently Stone even has agreements in place with their wholesalers that state that their beers should not remain on the shelves longer than 120 days regardless of the best by date. These are obviously not being honoured, which doesn't really surprise me with places like Edeka or Kaufland... Still, that's quite interesting to know.

They also offered to send me a few replacement cans as a thank you. Top notch customer service .
