Root + Branch Brewing

I have no real reason to visit since I live near the Astor Place location, but them now serving ramen is intriguing. Have you tried it?

 

I went yesterday (someone said i was the second one to ask so im assuming you were there before me) and the guy said they have not received any shipment and most likely coming in wednesday/thursday.

 

For what it's worth, they didn't have anything on the shelves yesterday at Bier and Cheese on Broadway. Perhaps they haven't dropped yet?

 

That must have been me. There were 2 guys working when I was there and neither of them had any idea of what I was talking about, so I guess they looked into it after I left.

 

I haven't yet! I actually didn't know they served ramen. I typically just go in for beer

 

I’ve had a few cans of the Sand City collab, which I loved, and dare I say this might be better. Awesome way to kick things off @xenjoiii this is top notch all around.

yes! pretty common theme. it has a very mid aughts indie (grizzly bear - knife) vibe.

Top Hops still has about a case of cans left.

 

I read on IG that you are looking at the lindenhurst CVS. Selfishly, I hope that works out as I’m less than ten minutes away and will be a fixture at the taproom!

Wow! Dead Men is spectacular! It hits the eyes, nose, and mouth in spades. Never had an LIC (?? Sorry if wrong Brewery) beer from this fella before - I just happened to be strolling the beer aisle during my lunch break when another dude asked specifically for Root + Branch. I consider myself lucky - this shit is dope. The Worst part was my wife pilfering half the beer.

 

Note to self: demand beer prenupt with future spouse.

God damn this beer is worthy ..picked it up at the food emporium on 8th ave and had no idea I was buying liquid gold

Best part no lines... Root and branch just won me over

 

Artwork and logo reminds me of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

 

Dead Men on Holiday was on tap at City Hops, such a great introduction beer into what quality to expect from these guys.
